Upgrade to see Expiring Sweeps?!

Sweepstakes Plus Subscriber
Is this whole having to upgrade to Plus to see Expired Sweeps happening to everyone? Or just me? Is my trial over or something? I've been a member for about a year and just got a message saying I have to upgrade to Plus to see the content. :(
 
Hello Members,

The Expiring and Expired Sweepstakes section(s) on Sweepstakes Advantage are now only available to Sweepstakes Plus subscribers.
If you choose to subscribe to Plus you can still use these sections on SA or Login to Sweepstakes Plus - Largest Premium Online Sweepstakes and Contest Directory for all the Plus
features.

Just tried to catch up on some expiring sweeps and got the same message. I'm very sad to see that I'm required to pay now. I've been a member since 2006 and love to sweep but very sporadic about entering, just whenever I had a little free time. :(
 
Ken posted to the Announcements forum {1st place I check when there is a site change} and he explained why this was necessary:


Expiring and Expired Sweepstakes Sections are now only available to Plus members.

This change was 100% necessary to keep the sweepstakes on SA Free. We've rolled out new features and options for free since 1997 and this is no longer feasible
especially in this economy. It takes many people and costly technologies to keep the site running an updated. All the sweepstakes are still accessible on the other sections of the site.
The expiring sweepstakes section is being reserved for the Plus members who are directly supporting the site. Sorry for the inconvenience but we have to ensure the site will
be around for everyone in the future.
