US largest Sitka Spruce has fallen

As many of you may know the Northwest is having hurricane force winds. The latest fatality was the 200 foot largest Sitka Spruce in the US. The tree was estimated at 750 years old. I always so sad to see something so beautiful gone. :wave: The news stories are just starting to come out, but here is a link describing the tree:

I wonder if they will be using the wood for anything. That is sad.

750 years old, and it dies just like that? Such a shame 
They'll do nothing special with the wood besides grind it into sawdust, like everything else these days
