FYI My sister and her fiance applied and were accepted to be on Curb Appeal. They were under the impression that the show would pay for the work that they do. This however is not true and they were asked to provide the money for the repairs. Yes you do get the labor and design help for free but you need to be prepared to pay for the materials. They are a young professonal couple and although both work for major corporations they simple couldn't front the meony.

I don't know how intense the casting process was (I never asked because it was kind of a sore spot) but I just thought I would forewarn anyone considering applying and save you some time and energy if this info changes your mind!

I too was under the impression they covered costs, plus gave a fee (like the stock pay actors get?) for appearing on the show(s)!!!
