What are your plans this evening?

I'm in an especially good mood today :sunny: My wonderful, sexy hubby got a raise~small but a raise none the less~ and has been very supportive of me on a few personal issues. So, I've decided to do something very special for him. Well, an assortment of specials things.

We didn't have much of an anniversary because we were strapped so tonight I am making him his favorite meal(sorry, dark :laughing:) a porterhouse steak with all of the fixin's! Went and bought his favorite brew and currently have it chilling. I'd have bought wine but we're too trashy for good wine :laughing: I will be shipping the oldest off to spend the night with his best friend who lives across the street(thank God for my one great neighbor!). They're all going out of town to the hs football game. Youngest will be spending the night at Mother's and will be going out to eat with her and my step-dad.

The biggest surprise of the night is that I've arranged for his brother to come visit for the weekend!! We haven't seen the younger version of hubby in almost a year and I know hubby's been missing him. He should be arriving later this evening. Little brother is bringing MY favorite brew...Blackberry wheat ale made by Long Trail and only available in a few states. I've also invited hubby's broke, mooching, lazy, lying-butt cousin who is currently up from Texas. But he won't be coming. I asked hubby's other cousin to pull the spark plugs from his car or whatever it is you have to do to keep a vehicle from working properly :laughing:

To get his great time started, I've drawn him a bath complete with bubbles. I hope he enjoys himself. If any man on earth deserves a nice break and good time it is my man! He's still living with me, right? :whistle:
 
Looks like I will be going to the funeral home...I have a friend whose mother passed away. Gee, what fun!
 
Oh, Tam! I'm so sorry!! You want to talk about it? If not now, when you get back maybe? So sorry, sweets. I know this must be very hard on you too.
 
really sorry about the funeral tammy.

sounds like a great night.. just having the kids gone for a little while helps. and steak.... that sounds so good. :laughing:

And thats great about the raise.. Its about time that boss of his is doing something right. I will expect a full report in the morning.. ok, maybe not a full report but you get the gist..

Not sure what we will be doing, I'd looooove to play some poker but, since some people are out of town working that won't happen. Plus, I'm trying to save and raise the $$ to visit my family (just a vacation for me!!) in November. Cali and Vegas, here I come. :headbang: Just hope my past stays out of my way, I don't need or want the drama.

I would like to do something though. Dh got pulled into the scales last night and got a $760 fine for being overweight in Chicago so I'm praying his boss doesn't make him pay it. :cussing:
 
My night is going to be spent decorating the church hall for my parents 40th wedding anniversary party tomorrow afternoon...then I am going to go home ...have a drink...and crash because I am completely and totally exhausted from working and running around all day! I hope the party I planned for them goes great tomorrow!
 
I will be spending tonight in our four star room in Pinetop, Arizona. Hopefully sitting on our balcony, watching the sunset as I am sipping my glass of wine. My husband Paul, BFF Robin, and I are vacationing a week here. Tomorrow my oldest son, Moses is going to come up and spend the night – he lives in Tempe, Arizona. So it will be a fun week I think.

Nice job on planning the perfect evening for your husband. Good men are hard to come by and deserve a reward now and then.
 
This weekend I will be babysitting. And tommorrow night we are taking kailey to the circus. Will be lots of fun.

On a sad note. I just found out my husbands parents filed for bankruptcy. They are going to move out of thier house, and start renting a house now.
This is my husbands parents. This is probably why he has such bad issues with money. I guess his dad really did gambled everything away.
I'm staying out of it though. It makes me mad. If i was her, I would tell him to get out of my life. But she doesn't. Well I'm not going to pick up the pieces when they fall apart. He keeps crapping away all his money. And actually had the nerve to ask rocky to cosign to refinance thier house for the 4th or 5th time. Aggghhh!

Heeeyy!!! I've got my senses back. He wouldn't miss just one bite would he? One really big bite...and one less beer. Would he?! :laughing:

I had to make him grill the steaks :laughing: I'm terrified of gas grills. Thought I could do it for his sake but I freaked. I made everything else, though and decided at the last minute to make some deviled eggs too. Hubby used to do kegs and eggs when he'd go to the OSU games. I thought it'd be a nice touch. I should have put some Gas-X in the mix :laughing:

Hubby, little brother, and their friends had a great time!
