**What's everyone planting this Spring**

So far we planted..... Watermelon, Cucumber, Butternut Squash & Tomatoes. Next weekend daughter and I will going back down to get some Peppermint and Basil to throw in the garden too. Those make the walkway smell goodddddd.........

What ya planting this year?
 
Right now we have gladiolas (growing great!) and sunflowers. The puppy just dug up my sons watermelon plant a few minutes ago. :cussing: Thee were a test because, I have a brown thumb.

I want to grow tomatoes, zuch., pepper, okra, and few other things. My inlaws and landlord keeps me stocked up on squash.

I want a garden like nobody's business but according to hubby, it'd be ate up before it ever grew :cry:

I want to plant everything from cabbage to potatoes but apparently the coons and such will destroy it.

We have clay soil too so I don't know if my garden would grow unless I brought in topsoil and I just don't wanna do that unless necessary.

I'd grow cukes, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, peppers(hotter the better), chiles, and tomatoes.
 
So far we just have our onions planted...to cold for the others yet. We always plant potatoes, green peppers, tomatoes, okra, green beans, squash, watermelons, pumpkins, and gourds. We plant the cute little pumpkins and mini corn also to sell ~ we have a really good spot for a garden ~ even grew in the drought last year so that is saying something!

Trust me, if we can have a garden without it getting eaten ~ you can! We have to fight coons, and deer ~lol! I feed my coons oreos and marshmellows to keep them happy...that helps!
 
Lordy have I missed you Champ. The only thing I stir up in the garden is trouble. I do my gardening at Kroger. Other than that, you can bet I will kill it. None the less, I have missed your post and I'm so glad to see you back. I'll be back to.
 
:cussing: My hubby is such a picky eater. I'm the only one eating veggies here, so it's cheaper just to buy them at the farmer's market. I do have my strawberry plants and herb garden that I am adding to.

awwwwww... that's so sweet girl.... I miss you too :sunny:, I was goin' to post the other day "where's fears".... no lie.. where u been 2 girl???? I've just been takin' alittle break and it shows... I ain't won jack :cussing: because of my "little break".. lol.. then boom when I get back into that instant on party like a pro... anywho... what's gardening at Kroger? :scratch:
