From my house to yours, I hope you enjoy this beautiful holiday.

I love the fireworks, food, family, etc. We had lunch at his uncle's house earlier, nice little cookout. We have some fireworks to let off and we were going to attend the display at the convention center tonight but, guess what? It's raining and lightening outside! We really need rain though, cannot complain. Dh said we could light ours off in between the rain tonight but, might not make it to the convention center display.

We had a nice cookout here at the house with ribs, potato salad, baked beans, devilled eggs, bisquits, and brownie sundae for dessert. We will watch the fireworks from town square tonight. Fortunately, we can watch them from the house. Right now, we're trying to recover from overeating. :laughing:

Bunnytoes, that is a beautiful picture. I would love to have it as a painting on my wall.

The rain went away and we were able to light fireworks and go see the display. Although, it was a beautiful display, they didn't turn off the lights in the lots! Really odd but, still nice.

At dh's uncles house there were a few different types of meats, potato salad, baked beans and green beans. I didn't eat much, it was really hot and humid and I didn't feel like eating too much. Tonight I boiled hot dogs.

Tomorrow we are invited to a 4th of july BBQ and it's suppose to be full of great southern and grilled foods. Wish me luck that I don't gain 50lbs because, those people can cook!!
