I won a Pepsi Cup but I want to post I got an email from a fellow sweeper who said "read or be banned" in response to another post of mine. Something about I'm not allowed to request votes from other sweepers until I have been a member for 2 weeks. Fine. But the way you worded it, sweeps are supposed to be FUN! It did discourage me from wanting to share my win or future wins. I'm a good sport, though. Good luck anyway! :)
 
Congrats on your win. Don't let one bad experience ruin sweeping for you. Almost everyone here is very supportive of each other and enjoy reading the wins of others. Best of luck for many more great wins coming your way. :cheers:

Keeping things in proper perspective, you received the same message all ineligible vote requesters receive from our SA Moderators. Everyone is expected to read and follow the rules before requesting votes. It is spelled out multiple times in several places, plus stickied at the top of the voting forum.

It is good to see that you are sticking with sweeping and posting your win. The longer you are here, and the more observant you become of the voting forum, you will see that there is a good reason for the two week rule. Many people come here only to ask for votes from our members, don't return votes, and disappear when their voting contest is over. The two week rule is there to protect our SA members from such vote requesters.
