Wondered when that would happen.....

So I finally got screwed by Facebook. Logged in to get the 'you've been temporarily blocked from liking pages until August 18' message. I sighed and decided I could do without for a week, but when I clicked okay, and logged on, I got another message stating I was actually blocked for 30 days.. and not only that, but they erased all 'likes' that I did in the last 30 days, scolding me that I actually have to have legit interest in the product/company. This infuriates me because all businesses use Facebook to gain likes in order to get their product out there. Because of this, I will not be able to enter any of my FB dailies because my likes are gone and most require you to like the page to enter. Further, all 1 entries that I spent HOURS ON in the last month are gone.

I know I've seen others post about it, but has anyone had this block reversed? Seems like what caused it on my end is the blog contests. A lot of them ask you to like countless pages for extra entries. So be careful, everyone!

According to the article linked below, FB likes for sweeps will not be allowed as of Nov. 5th. I've had troubles with FB myself, though not the same one so I can't share anything helpful in that regard. I'm wondering if this change will help or hurt my sweeping.

I've already been able to enter some Facebook sweeps without "liking" the sponsor. It remains to be seen if this will reduce the number of Facebook sweeps.

I had to stop entering the group blog giveaways for that reason. I had been blocked by FB and twitter too many times!
