This is why. Its been to hot to do anything outside so saturday fox reality had a hell's kitchen marathon on. An older season that I hadnt seen. so im watching while doing laundry and stuff. I watched it for hours so the second to last episode is going off and they are showing the remaining two contestents right. In walks my daughter. She sits down on the couch and says " I dont know why you are watching this ya know micheal wins" WHAT!!!!!. Are ya kidding me. why oh why did ya say that. :cry: I sat thru this thing and she comes in and just ruins it :laughing: I couldnt believe it. And before ya think she didnt know what she was doing she had a little smile on her face when she said it. oh, she knew!!!

Don't ya hate it when kids to that to ya!

My 17 year old is the worse about telling you everything that is going to happen during a show if she has seen it before me.

yes!! I hate it. My daughter is the worse about that kinda stuff. I wonder why they do that. mean, mean children. :laughing:

Kids: God's way of saying "USE BIRTH CONTROL" :laughing:

I have threatened both of my daughthers to NOT tell me how Harry Potter ends. I want to read and find out for myself. I think it is killing them not to tell me.

I think I got you beat!! Today my 4 yearold was absolutely horrible

I took her to my parents house. My dad wanted her to ride her bike. She didn't want to. So she fussed a bunch. He got upset and told me to take her home. She was really tired. So she cried and screamed getting into the car.
Driving home, she kicked the dashboard, screamed, yelled. Then told me I don't like you anymore mommy, I want you to be dead. (That was a shock to me, that my 4 year old would say that). So I just ignored it. Then got home, she said it about 5 times. I wish you were dead, I don't like you...bla bla, I don't want you as my mom.
Get this} she even said she wished her bunny was her mommy, instead of me}

Then I got fed up, and I sat her on my lap, I said Im sorry kailey that you are mad at mommy. I love you, and I would of took you swimming. Then I explained how mean that was saying that she wished I was dead. WEll something clicked in her head, and she started balling, I guess her concious kicked in, and she cried, and said she was sorry.

kids can be so mean sometimes. :cry:

Tiff, sometimes little ones are just out of sorts. I remember that when mine went through extreme behaviors, they were often coming down with something, and I didn't know yet. It would often turn out that they were getting an earache or feverish, but they didn't know themselves. It just translated into a cranky kid.

I like how you ended your story, loving and communicating with your daughter. I remember once, I was at a Tiny Tots group and one of the little boys was acting like you described. The mother was from Scandinavia, and she just picked him up and hugged him. It was not spoiling, it was soothing. All I could hear was my father's (imaginary) voice in my head, saying he should be spanked. Good thing this mother knew best.
