thank you all!!!
it was a very nice birthday so far! My darling husband brought me breakfast in bed and the kids sang happy birthday.
My one son bought me a watch (with his own money!) and my other son bought me tickets to a rock concert. It will be our first concert together! My daughter bought me a gung fu shirt (I'm half Chinese/half Thai) and they all made me cards. My mom had a whole box of things I made when I was a kid and I never understood WHY she loved those more than anything else. Now as a Daddy, I know how special they are.
My husband had a half day at the spa planned for us. It's a spa that caters to gays, which is really nice. Its a nice place and not 'too gay' (I'm an ESPN, Washington Redskins, football fanatic gay! ROFL!)
I was thinking a lot about last year, I was alone (with my kids) and pretty darn lonely. Having three children and being gay, it's been hard for me to find someone. I'm not a bar person nor a liberal and my children are my life. I spent 6 years alone with the kids, now they have a second father who they adore (and get away with murder.. but we won't talk about that!)
Tonight, my best friend and his wonderful man are going to make us dinner at our home. And my in-laws are coming over friday night with 3 of David's brothers and sisters (who still live at home) and staying the weekend.
I'm really blessed.

It is amazing the difference that a year can make! I am glad that you and the kids have found a happiness and peace! I know how special those babies are...they come first! Glad you have found something to make your lives complete!

I'm not a big fan of him but it's going to be fun.
I'm a huge Redskins fan, get a box every year. Luckily, my man likes football. his father, however is a big time fan.. I think that's why he likes me! lol
