How open and honest are you?

I love Tesla! I would like to see them!

I got to go see Def Leppard back years ago and I would love to go and see them again ~ that was a great show! They are going to be on "Dancing with the Stars" in a few weeks

Well, if you're anywhere near these places, you may be in luck. Most of their shows right now are scheduled for Europe, but they do add US dates as the year goes on.

Saturday, 7/12/2008 - South Texas, Rockfest, Boerne, TX, US
Sunday, 7/13/2008 - Rocklahoma, Pryor, OK, US
Saturday, 7/19/2008 - Waukesha County Fair, Waukesha, WI, US
Sunday, 7/20/2008 - Chippewa Valley Rock Fest, Cadott, WI, US

Way out of the area of Kentucky ~lol!! Gonna have to be a little closer

Not anywhere around me...I go to Indiana ~lol!!!

We are actually in a good place for concerts and such ~ I can be in Louisville in 2 hours, Evansville in an hour, and Nashville in a little over an hour! Nashville gets some really good concerts of course! I just hate to drive downtown, but I would!

I like Tesla too but don't care about going to concerts. The people there get wasted and rowdy. I can get wasted here and play music real loud and not have to deal with the hoopla.

That was back in the '80's. You don't see too much of that now. Plus, the police are all over the place making sure things don't get out of hand. We go to alot of concerts. We all grew up and don't act like that anymore! :crazytongue:

LOL!!

yeah, I wouldn't expect that sort of stuff at a concert of an 80's band...not like I would at say a Rob Zombie concert of a Bodom concert. Dumb morons doing whatever they could get their hands on ( I ain't meaning weed) and then wanting to punch someone in the face. No thanks!

We had a chance to go to Ozzfest last year(or the year before-can't remember) but didn't want to deal with the crowds or the younger peeps. Seeing a good band at a bar is about as far as we go. I guess I'm getting old-fogeyish.

Ozzfest was well-behaved too. There's still alot of kids at these concerts. Heavy metal groups and hair bands have been building popularity again with the younger crowd. The difference now is is that there is more security, security checks, police, and ADULTS at these concerts. The punk kids don't have much opportunity to pull too much. One time, the punks tried pulling their body surfing and moshing cr_p in a club, and we old-schoolers squashed that out real quick. :nono: :headbang:

When I was a 16, I was a huge Korn fan. Well I stayed up all night to win "cage" tickets. I called in and won. But when they asked me how I old I was. They told me they couldn't give me them cause I wasn't over 18. Then they hung up on me. I was so upset. I burst into my moms room crying. It was like midnight. Well she called the radio station. Made a huge deal.
So they gave me everclear/jimmys chicken shack tickets. My first real concert. Well it was crazy I got trampled on by two huge guys. I never went back to those kinds of concerts. ( I guess it was a good thing i didnt win those cage tickets.) But later on I found out there was a bunch of under 18 in the cage.

My first concert was Montel jordan, and boyz to men. lol. (Embarrassed) I used to love them. I was like 12 though...

my fav bands now are disciple and skillet. Christian rock bands.

I hate the pit. Was in there once and never again. I don't get it anyway. I got elbowed in the face and felt up. Not to mention shoved like crazy. The whole thing is violent.

Good on the older folks shutting down the punks :headbang:

She's married.. NOT dead.

My goodness we all still look.

Down girl, down!! He's also married; but, then again, so are you! :nono: :crazytongue:

I saw Def Leopard on MTV unplugged. The lead singer lost his ability to sing. It was very sad.

Yikes, here we go again! You may believe that, but the truth be known, no, not everyone does. I sure as heck don't! But that's us, and we know others who don't; but what other people do is no business of mine! :sleepy:

lol its ok. I don't need to look. I get myself introuble when I do. I can't seem to figure out how to look but not touch :nono:

Let me guess. Your husband catches you and says, "what are you looking at?"!

I barely even see people when I'm out and about. :crazytongue:
