Narcolepsy?

That disease was prominently featured in My Own Private Idaho. River Phoenix kept flopping over....Of course, it had symbolic meaning and all that there :)

Speaking of which, Rowan Atkinson in "Rat Race" falling asleep in the hotel lobby standing up. I wanted to watch this today and could swear I had it, but I can't seem to find it.

I PM'd you a youtube homage to Feed. Not suitable for public consumption (PUN!)

It wasnt narcolepsy..She would just fall asleep at any time like narcolepsy but she would stay asleep for days or weeks at a time and only wake for minutes. I dont know if that is a real condition or not.

Thanks for the Link. That was.. interesting

OK, just finished Dracula 2000. Yawn. All Gerald Butler's best lines, and actual acting, were in the deleted scenes. Which meant the last part of the movie made no sense as it was cut. Butler should've punched the film editor in the face a few times...

This is a pretty decent vampire movie. Not the greatest but Butler is hot so its definitely watchable.

Thoughtcrimes~ B ~ a woman suddenly starts to hear voices on the night of her senior prom. She spends the next 9 years in a mental institution diagnosed as schizophrenic.. she isnt. she hears peoples thought. the NSA finds her and put her talents to good use. It has the look of a TV pilot. It would have made a great tv show. Its very well written, the acting is good and the characters are likable. I really liked it.

Crank: High Voltage

There wasn't a moment in that movie where he wasn't doing something off the wall. Even more so then the first one. Only this time his heart has been removed and a electric heart pump is keeping him alive. To stay alive he has to keep the battery charged by electrocuting himself.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail ~ A

Watched this movie last night for the 1001st time. I wouldn't recommend it for the first time Monty Python viewer ... or for anyone without a warped sense of humor, but I just love these guys!

NI!!!

There are several of us here who would agree with you on this movie. We actually go and watch many of the TV programs when we want a good laugh. Monty Python

Its just a flesh wound. My poor children hear that every time the hurt themselves.. now they just say yeah mom we know, its just a flesh wound. ok not everytime..just when its a baby gash and they act like they need a trip to the ER.

I love this movie. It has some of the best lines to quote.

Now, are we going to start the whole "Monty Python" thing again! Didn't we pull an all-nighter of clips before!LOL

I just got done watching a little while ago "Ghost Ship" for the second time. I know this movie didn't get good reviews or do good in the movies; but, for some reason, I liked it. I just loved how finally the whole story of the demise of the passengers and crew rolled out. I just don't like the idea of floating around in the ocean hanging on to a suitcase!LOL

Just a couple of Blackadder quote...

Mrs. Miggins: Bonjour, Monsieur
Blackadder: Excuse me.
Mrs. Miggins: It's French.
Blackadder: So is eating frogs, cruelty to geese and urinating on the streets.

Centurion Blackadder: We're facing a horde of ginger maniacs, with wild goats nesting in their huge orange beards, or, to put it another way, 'The Scots', and how does our inspiring leader Hadrian intend to keep out this vast army of lunatics? By building a three foot high wall. A terrifying obstacle. About as frightening as a little rabbit with the word "boo" painted on its nose.

The Boondock Saints~ A ~ I have talked about this one before I think.. I love this movie. Its soooo underrated. Its a shame really. Its about two brothers who decide to take out the bad guys in their neighborhood. Its a great story and acting, especially by willem defoe.. lots of action, its funny. what more could you ask for. They are finally making a sequel to this and it should be out sometime this year. ten years after the original.

Jeeze, did you see what Lars von Trier does to poor Dafoe in "Antichrist"? I sure hope they used a Boogie Nights like stunt double for Mr. Dafoe's not so "Little Elvis". And, of course there is the rest of that movie....

Taken~ A ~ very good action movie with liam neeson. The plot isnt over done like a lot of action movies. I really enjoyed it. great acting, decent plot, tons of action... thumbs way up.

Sum yuen(forest of death)~ F ~ what a steaming pile. omg. I spent the entire movie with this wth is going on expression on my face. Just when you think it couldnt possibly get any more bizarre... it does. Its like someone with multiple personalities wrote the script. ya got ghost, talking trees, suicides and murder all in the "mysterious" forest.. they must use the phrase "mysterious forest" fifty times in this movie.. im guessing because they didnt know what the hell the movie was about either. stupid!.

Terminator Salvation~ C ~ ya know I had to see my guy  It was nice seeing bale but the movie itself was a disappointment. I loved the first two movies and thought the third was pretty good so I was really looking forward to this. Maybe my expectations were too high? nah, that wasnt it.

Visually it was really good, the terminators were awesome! The action scenes were cool as well. The problem with the movie for me was.. I didnt care. Sam Worthington who plays Marcus Wright stole every single scene he was in, and he was in most scenes. He was the only character I ended up caring about. Not john connor, not kyle reese.. And those are the two the movie was supposed to be about right? Both bale(connor) and Yelchin(reese) do an adequate job with the characters but there was nothing special about them. It was strange.

there are a few things from the first movie thrown in which was nice. When it was over we( husband and kids) all said eh, it was alright. Its worth watching for sure and even buying when it comes out if you are a bale fan and ya know I am. That will be the only reason I buy this.

If you can only see one movie right now see Star Trek and wait for this on DVD.

how to lose friends and alienate people~ B ~ I absolutely love simon pegg  This is about a guy(pegg) who loves to hate celebrities.. he gets a job at a fancy celebrity watch magazine and has a hard time fitting in. Its hilarious.

Religulous~ A ~ Maher handles the subject of religion like he handles everything.. smart and snarky. I love this documentary and have watched it several times and it makes me laugh every time. If you are a religous person this is not the movie for you. If you like Maher or if you arent really religious you should check it out.

No Country for Old Men ~ B

A hunter (Josh Brolin) stumbles across dead bodies, $2 million cash and a rather large stash of heroin in the dessert. He makes off with the dough and the very brutal and mentally skewed Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) hunts after him with a local sheriff (Tommy Lee Jones) on his trail.

Very dark and violent. Definitely not for the kiddos. I really liked it except the ending was sorta a letdown.

I agree completely. The ending was a let down. I really like Tommy Lee Jones and He did a great job as usual but the ending could have been better.

This is one of my favorite movies. I watch it a lot. lol.. I actually really liked the ending. considering the kind of character Anton was you would expect him not to go down easy. He was crazy tough. I think his character is the best portrayal of a psychopath I have ever seen. you couldn't beg, plead or buy your way out of what his plans for you were. He was amazing. He deserved the oscar without a doubt.
