 Hey guys long time no see.....I haven't been sweeping in over a 6 months now....got a bout of a helath problem that has thrown me for a loop, something with overactive thyroid (not sure how to deal with it wasted so much money and time and haven't found right thryoid specialist or endocrinologist who would treat me like a patient humna being).

But I would really love to win some money a few hundred bucks not looking for millions of dollars just a few hundred bucks to get out form under these doctor fees/bills. I know there are folks with way more bigger problems than me but I am the kind of person that doesn't like to advertise me feeling bad or sick.

I would also love to win a an 80 GB Ipod been trying for year and a half...no dice so far....

Im sorry you havent been feeling well. I hope ya get to feeling better soon. I have been doing this around 10-11 months and just got my biggest prize this month. It takes time but if you are entering you will win. Are you playing the transitions instant. There have been alot of winners on that one. its not alot of money but every little bit helps right. good luck to ya and I hope you have a big win real soon.

Hope you win soon! Try some instant win types or maybe spread the field a little and try entering other tpes of sweepstakes that you usually don't . Also, Please check, check, check your email. Many people don't check it regularly and miss on on many small wins. We have to pick winners over and over again in our own members sweepstakes because people don't confirm their wins. :sleepy:

Sweeps 777,

YOU HAVE MY SUPPORT 100%

I have the thyroid thing too. Welcome to the health rollercoaster. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism in April, but I am sure I have had it since 2004. I kept going to the doctor and they kept saying I was fine and there was nothing wrong with me. I've had ever test known to man and finally my thyroid was so out of control, the docs finally said maybe there was something wrong. Gee, it only took three years. Now, I am on medicine and still not feeling well--a million symptoms. I am told that it is a long process back to health. I have been looking at these web sites/forums:

http://thyroid.about.com

http://www.thyroid-info.com/index.htm

http://www.medhelp.org/forums/ThyroidDisordersSupport/wwwboard.html

I hope this helps.

Janet

You guys thank you so much for all of your support

ll1=> I'm sorry about my name LOL but I do love even though I haven't won squat.

jpdeadhead => thank you have my support to. I was recently diagnosised with HYPERthryoidism, lately I thought what I was feeling was all in my head but its nice to know these symptoms of mine rae real and do exist.

Been to 2 endocrinologists and an internist, wasted $600 total for the lousy dismissive endocrinologists and I have never felt worse taking their meds to help me out with.....not sure where to go and how else to repair myself, been unemployed for about 3 yeras and I know there are folks with more worse problems but I've never felt this defeated in my life. I wanted to get an 30GB Ipod but it costs like $350, I just wanted to get one to relax with music but the symptoms of mine I can't seem to shake off with food, or a walk in the park, no one wnats to hear about my suffering so I keep quiet and ignore my symtoms so I can have a few freinds left you know what I mean.....see I am doing here sorry folks really sorry.

Thanks again for lifting my spirits you sweet folks. :sunny:

Endos are the worst. I'm sticking with my Internist. So far, she seems like she will treat me based on how I am feeling. Many hypers have had luck with Holistic drs. and Physician Assistants (PA). The bottom line is that you have to find a doctor that is willing to treat you BASED on you symptoms and not your lab results or just the symptoms. You can treat yourself too. There are labs that you can order your own blood tests and there are internet sites that you can buy your own medicine. Go to those web sites that I listed in my previous post and you can get all kinds of good information about hyperthyroidism diseases and treatments.

Don't give up. PM me if you want to discuss this privately.

That version of the Ipod is very expensive! Even if you got it, then you have to pay money to put music on it. I would suggest that you start with a less expensive model ~ the Ipod Shuffle is only $75.00 on the Apple website, and hold around 200 songs. I won the Ipod and used my CD's to put music on it ~ I love it!

Then there is also the non Ipod MP3 players that are a lot less expensive! I got two on here from a sweeper for $25.00 a piece! Perfect for my kids that I don't want to invest $75.00 in something they might lose or drop!

Just a little advise that hopefully you can use until your circumstances improve! I understant medical bills greatly. I was in the hospital for several nights and I am undergoing testing still. Hubby had 2 surgeries and bills are rolling in at a rapid pace ~ it is crazy!!!

Good luck and keep on sweeping!!

:wave:Hi, sweeps777. I wish you would win something too. Someday, when you post a win, we at SA should have a huge "Sweeps777 Celebration." I've been following your saga for about a year now, and it's about time you won. Best wishes with your health, too.

 Arrtup, Tiffandrock, you guys are so sweet I really appreciate all the kindness you guys are showing me. <=tears of joy mind you

Arrtup I don't need a 'she won a prize type of party' hun, I just want to know what it feels like to win to accomplish a good thing and enjoy having it. A yera and still counting entering as many different sweepstakes as I can. Yes even entering the Instant Wins.....
