SA has been very good to me.... I love my job but it doesn't pay well at all.........I have made more in cash and prizes this year sweeping than working at the Cafe. My goal is to get my sweeping routine more organized and hopefully win a lump sum to put down on a home, somewhere down the line. Then I can actually use the 4500.00 play set for my son (that I just won)and the 3200.00 matching fridgidare appliances,(that I recieved in march) both which will be staying in storage until then.
Shout out to all the sweepers in the Houston TX Area!
Anyone know of any sweeping clubs or meetings in my area? I'd love to know I've never met another die hard sweeper in person.
I won a contest when I was a kid $57.42 change in a jar. and a Carvel Ice cream cake, all for drawing a picture of my summer vacation. I was hooked I remember always asking my grandparents to buy stamps so I could enter any contest on a cereal box or bag of chips.
I used to get mad at my grandparents, If I didn't win I'd accuse them of not mailing my letters and postcards! I became a teenager and forgot about contests and sweeps.
2 years ago (I'm a mom now) was our worst financial year ever. I saw an ad to win some insanely expensive car from Nieman Marcus (of course I didn't win) within 5 minutes of wondering about other online contests I found SA. I devoted 6 weeks to nonstop sweeping after work. And gave up. 3 weeks later an ipod touch showed up at the house! I've been sweeping ever since about once every 5-6 weeks I win something that I wouldn't have gotten for myself or can't afford. sometimes it winds up for sale on ebay or at a pawn shop to pay bills, but thats how i have to roll sometimes!
