I received my Dove Beauty Buzz Words instant win prize - it's a spa bag and I'm gonna have to say I expected more from Dove, like maybe a Dove product would have been nice! I totally love there body wash and this stuff looks totally cheap and generic! Not even a sample from Dove! Whatever, the bag is kinda cute and I don't ever complain but really, come on, it's Dove, wouldn't you think you'd get maybe a Dove product? Maybe I'm just acting ungrateful? Don't know! I am grateful, and thanks SA AND DOVE!

Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the prize...sometimes it is more than we expect...part of sweeping...

I didn't mean to sound so braty. I just possibly expected a "dove" product at least. Sorry to vent on here. I love winning anything anyways!
 
I'm glad to hear you received your prize. I won on 10/20/2010, and I still haven't received my prize.
I sent them an email a week ago, but I haven't received a response. I was beginning to think they didn't send out their prizes. My wife won a year's supply of Dove last spring, and she never did receive her prize. She wrote them a letter, but they never responded.
 
...dummy me's still been entering it! thx for enlightening me...sorry you're disappointed, 99.9% of all prizes we get are usually great! ...I've had a couple cheezy ones...I usually put them in a goody bag for Christmas & let everybody sift thru & get what they want...they luv it!
 
I've been entering that one too, but it really doesn't look like very much of a prize. I've been lucky with Dove in the past--got the coupons for 12 2-packs of soap, then a free hair product coupon, then my choice of styling appliance (I took the hot rollers) and a conditioner. So I guess I'll keep trying for this one too.

Is there a current sweeps? The one I found expired on Dec. 1st, 2010.
 
:cussing: That is sad. That contest was kind of a pain if I recall too. I only played a few times. You are ok to vent, nice to win anything-LOL but also ok to be disapointed when it is cheesy. Dove sent me a contest coupon for free deod a while back that was expired, then sent note apologizing but never replaced-too funny. Luckily with all my coupons I have cabinet full of deod so I did not get to upset.

Just keep playing-karma will bring something great to make up for dud-lol.
 
:sunny: Congratulations on your win! It is rather odd that they include a candle, eye mask, bath salts and herbal tea instead of some Dove products.
 
Congrats to you for winning. :cheers: I'm sorry to read that the actual prize was disappointing. I think sweeps should be more explicit with what a prize consists of so we don't waste time entering. :scratch: There are IW sweeps I enter just because they're fun and I don't care if I really win e.g. the Halls would be nice to have won the grand prize but I still enter and I've won several bags of cough drops. Also, the Express salad sweep all I got was a few coupons for a dollar off a bag of salad. :laughing: Oh, well. Call me foolish. :laughing:
