Starting entry:

"Sorry seems to be the hardest word....in contesting", like in sorry you didn't win today! LOL
 
My fave entry is: Congratulations! You've won a virtual (insert name of make believe item here). Click here to redeem! :cussing:

Right! I am sure that is a grabber for most people! :laughing:
 
Sponsors - I do realize you wish to nudge us into buying your product/service, so I don't mind the coupons so much but I've become so numb because of the fake congrats, I don't even pause anymore :cry:

Now I don't believe I won until I get an email, and then I really don't truly believe I won until I have it in my hot little hands. :crazytongue: :whistle:

Me too!!! But I guess it was too easy to fake a win so sponsors pressured the JA's - now it's Flash, captcha's, FB, Twitter ...

I'm tired just thinking about it! :sleepy: :crazytongue: :whistle:

I actually found the LOSER screens funny - but then I love dark humor :whistle:

I roll my eyes at the "loser" ones. Actually, I have only seen one "loser" typed answer....and that contest has been over a few weeks now. It was a weekly one. Can't remember the sponsor. It also said...."Congratulations! - That is what I WOULD have said, if you won!" LOL!
The only contest for snail mail that I recall before the internet was PCH. And they are not the same PCH today....that is for sure! They are the only ones that actually CALLED me to solicit sales!
 
Or how 'bout the emails that say something like "Sweepstakes Winner!". And when you click on it, it is a congratulations for the person who actually won, not a win for you? Not that we don't appreciate other peoples' wins, but what a let down!

No....I'm the same way. That is usually a quick delete from my email.... :laughing:

Yeah - I just got one of those and my heart didn't even trip - that's how I know I'm jaded! :crazytongue:
