Okay so on Thursday, I started to enter for a chance to win the nintendo sweepstakes switch sweepstakes by Post Cereals and didn’t win anything. Well not realizing it, I entered the same sweepstakes with a different email not realizing the rules say not to do that. I lost that one but the next day, I entered again with the first email address I entered with and saw the mushroom pop up telling me I WON!!! I’ve never won anything like this but after winning I realized that I may have messed up and now I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I have read through the official rules multiple times but I don’t know how thorough they are about breaking the rules and the verification process. Does anyone know from experience if they think I’m gonna be disqualified? I haven’t received any emails from them but then again I don’t know if they would even email me to tell me I’m disqualified. I saw someone’s online who won and they just shipped it straight to them without an email or anything. The only email I received was “congrats you won. Please wait 6-8 weeks for verification and shipping” along with a confirmation number. Can someone please telling me what they think from experience. I’ve been freaking out.

However, did you register for yourself twice using the same name/home address/phone # BUT, with different email addys?
If yes, then they allowed it & what they do now is whatever they decide

kyi123 - if they deny the win it will be a harsh lesson, but, if you only did it 1x [play w/both addys 3x/day each] just that 1 day, it is possible they will choose to see it as an error rather than a cheat!
Do you think they will notify me for being disqualified? And are sponsors and administrators usually thorough with the rules and looking for “cheaters” or is it just a “I have to post rules because of legal issues”. I entered twice in the same day and lost both. Then entered once the next day with the same email I used the first time and won. All together entered 3 times. My first ever sweep win. I just wasn’t expecting to win.

What would I even say contacting them? Don’t you think it would look even more suspicious to email them and they would look into it more? Or would it be better to contact them?

No, no other email. I want to say I received it in less than a week. I know I was shocked how fast it came. Are you signed up for notices from ups, usps, etc? At least you'll know when and if it gets sent sooner that way. Thanks! Sold it immediately. lol

I would think it would make you look honest if you told them you were new to entering sweepstakes & entered a whole bunch of different promos & didn't realize you had already entered their promo with a different email addy & as soon as you realized it, you only entered with the original addy & was surprised & so happy that you won.

Oh no! That’s what I’m afraid of! Lol. I’m just afraid that maybe if I write them and say something and let’s say they didn’t notice, they then will know after I mention it and then disqualify me because they pretty much looked into it. Do you know anything about prize logic?
I do know that if prize logic is the JA for a promo where you request codes to enter, and there are [2] or more promos going on at the same time, they *sometimes* will only give the codes for [1] of the promos, which tells me they are already aware/will be aware that you used [2] addys to play more than the limit of 3x/day when they check
What they do w/that is anyone's guess, which is why I'd come clean
