I received an email this morning letting me know I was the GRAND prize winner of the Corona Premier New Year Sweepstakes. I was really excited as it's been a long time since I've won a grand prize, I was trying to complete the online forms and they wouldn't work. I emailed them immediately to let them know and they sent me a note stating they made a mistake and I was a FIRST prize winner not the grand prize :-( The prizes descriptions are below. You can understand my disappointment.

Two (2) Grand Prize winners will each receive prize of 1-year gym membership and magazine subscription with ARV $1016.97, and Fifteen (15) First Prize winners will each receive prize of magazine subscription with ARV of $16.97.

That would be disappointing! Hang in there, something will pop just remember this is a numbers game. The more you enter, the greater chances you have that your name will be drawn! Hang in there!!!!

Oh man hotlips_121 that stinks!

And it was a limited States 1x entry too!

I would send them an email back and tell them I am greatly disappointed that they told me I was a Grand Prize winner and that you were so excited to get the original email and now they disappointed you with the mistake.... You never know...

It happened to me a couple of years back with Budweiser, they sent me an Instagram message stating that I was a grand prize winner and won a trip to Philadelphia to attend the Made In America Festival, I sent them my contact info and they called me and told me that I had won a smaller prize.. T-shirts and merchandise.. I told them that they told me I won the grand prize on the Instagram message.. and when I told them that, they said "you're kidding me", I said no, you sent a message stating I won the grand prize and that I was greatly disappointed and was so excited to attend the event.

Long story short... I received an apology email a few days later from a higher up from Budweiser and they gave me the trip anyway!!

Give it a shot, you never know.

Trying to become the hardest working sweeper this year!

I will certainly email them back and let them know, but I submitted my online forms do you think they will say you accept the first prize and can't do anything about it? The emails are coming from prizelogic not from Corona.

Even though the JA messed up here telling you that you won the GP the sponsor [Corona] is [usually] the only one who can help since the JA [prizelogic] only notifies winners/fulfills prizes.
