*Also beware...I was notified via FB yesterday that I won a Hoover carpet cleaner from Nebraska Furniture Mart. Sadly, they messaged me this morning and said the notification was from a scammer.

That's how they do it. I bet if you looked at other comments you would have seen that they too had a fake winner message. I think FB is the easiest way scammers have found to defraud people.
