I received a Fedex today . Congratulations, My essay won the Husky Extreme 24 Hour Challenge. I won a Trip to High Lonesome Ranch in Colorado all expense paid for me and a guest . I will go against two other teams in a exreme challenge and 2 will win the grand prize A water craft, an All terraine Vech. and a complete camping set. I have to think about it, but if I go, Ill go with my 21 year old son. with him, I;ll have a great chance of finding 100 keys hidden in the woods before the other teams.

Do you know what type of "extreme challenge" or competition it will be against the two other teams? Would it involve running, climbing, map reading, orienteering, etc.? If you can find out you can start training for it now and smoke the other teams who may go unprepared. Good luck and tell us how it goes!
 
You compete against 2 other teams The first day is a 100 multiple questions quizand the second day you and your partner get a gps and must find 100 keys hidden in the woods in your area they give you. The person with the most keys found in the designated time wins. There are 2 grand prizes and one first palce so you have to win something. Grand prices is worth 17,000 and first palce is worth 411.11. Good thing I'm a super great outdoorsman. Been Hunting and fishing and camping my whole life. My husband said I'm the only girl he ever met who picks up snakes and catches frogs. lol
 
Congratulations sounds like a sweeps made for you- is it on TV as a reality show by any chance?

Wish you were my sister - there was a big, ugly slug on my driveway today and all my husband and I would do was look at it and say ouuuuhhhhh.
