A nice surprise!

I won a $100.00 gift card for the Apple Store from Energizer. It came special delivery and was a complete surprise as there was no e-mail notice. I was trying to win the grand prize as I have a PC and cannot shop at Apple unless I win an Apple computer sometime.
I won a stuffed doll from I've forgotten who and a $10.00 gift card for Amazon from Winner Every Hour. Haven't received either, yet. These are the first wins since Aug. and I was getting pretty discouraged. I started in March and have won very little.
I did win a DVD from Elle on Aug. 5th but haven't received it and have lost expectation of getting it.
Anyway, I'm feeling better now that some good things have happened. I know that PATIENCE is the watchword!
 
:cheers: CONGRATULATIONS on your surprise win! Don't give up on the other wins...they usually do show up eventually. I'm at the point where I prefer the surprise wins, because I'm not checking the mail waiting on them :laughing: Patience is a problem for me, as well.

:) congrats on your win! there are sites that you can sell your gc for like 70% of its value or maybe a good christmas gift for someone
 
:cheers:, Congratulations. Don't give up. I have months where nothing happens. It is in spurts, then it seems to come all at once. As for contests where you hear nothing, I sometimes call or send a little note or email. You can be pleasant and just say Hi, remember me. It usually get's quick attention. I especially do that if affidavit was involved, since you have to claim on taxes.
 
:sunny: Congratulations on your wins! The Apple gift card can be used for other things besides computers. Also check the refurbished tab at the store. You might find something that you want.
 
:wave: Congrats on a really nice win! About the DVD - drop them a nice email. Sometimes it's 8-10 weeks for delivery. I had one that was 10-12 weeks - that's 3 months! Usually they come much sooner, but not always. Also, when you get discouraged try entering some blogs - the prizes aren't huge, but the odds are much better and it's a nice pick me up to have deliveries coming in :)
