adding sweepstakes to contacts in email account

What do I use to enter sponsor's names to my contact list in my email account? I fear that a lot of emails sent to me does not reach me and is somehow blocked. Very often, someone tells me they sent me an email that I never received. Do we use the url address that pops up for entry or the brand name of the sponsors for contact listings?

Its been my experience that it all depends on the email provider that you use for your sweepstakes entries and if you use any additional spam blocking software. Who's your provider?
 
sweepsadv - thank you for your reply. My provider is Time-Warner Cable. I use gmail, roadrunner and yahoo for emails. I don't have any software for spam blocking, but subscribe to Norton for virus protection.
 
Amy - thank you for the list of agencies (sponsors). By entering these agencies in my contact list,would this cover all the contests I enter that is promoted by them?

In the case of something like the Dannon sweepstakes, Dannon is the sponsor, but the url address is "lightandfit.com". which goes into the contact list?
(I hope I'm not making too big a fuss over this issue!)

Luckily, ePrize runs most IW's, so there are just a few you have to be concerned about - and no, you are NOT making too big a fuss!!! :sunny:

For some, there is no way to know what addy they will use for any given promo - you could keep an eye on the Sweepstakes Winners Circle forum & hope when someone posts a win they include the addy :laughing:

Other than that, I can't think of a better way, sorry :scratch:

If they were sponsors/JA's {and you contacted them because you never got the confirmation email from an IW} I guess you could ask them for future reference. :sunny:
