I think some of it is just how they were raised. Like thier parents and grandparents were racists so they are.
My dad makes racists jokes, and when he is really mad he will say bad things about other races. But thats partly because the industry he works in. He owns his own bussiness, and the workers he has to hire are blacks and mexicans. But some of them are like scraping the bottom bucket. Cause some of them are on drugs, etc. Its really hard work, picking up sheet rock in hot weather, going up and down stairs, etc.
We've only had two employees that I really got along with. One of them still works there, the other is long gone.
But my point is, he sees the worst of the worst, so he thinks they are all like that. Which is not true. But my dad is very negative anyways.
Now my mom on the other hand, is really kind, always looking at the positives, gives everyone a chance, doesn't matter if they are white, black, poor, rich, etc.
Thats why I guess I'm not like my dad. I love my mom, she is awesome!!
