:laughing: You could get away with that here. I have seen men in dresses. That's just one of the reasons I love it here. No judgements. I could go to town in my pj's and slippers and no one would think anything of it. Although I would never do it. I have seen it. And people don't treat you any different than if you were dressed in what is considered normal.
I go to the school to pick up the kids in my pj's all the time :laughing: Of course, a lot of people wear PJ's around here also! No biggie!! I don't go in anywhere in them, but I don't think a thing about wearing them out and about!!
I would pay somebody good money to get bribe pictures of my hubby in a dress ~ pink would be nice

I like that they are giving more background stories this year!
Bunny ~ check out ebay sometime for tivo's with lifetime, they have the older models for lowprices. Since Christmas is over you should be able to get some good prices if you are interested! I know you can get an 80 hour for around $100.00 or so ~ darn good price for one with lifetime service, just not many hours!!

This season is really strange. people getting thru with little or no talent and some not getting thru that sounded good to me. :scratch: Even the rejects arent as bad as they were last year. Im already rooting for the really, really attractive guy from Australia. He got thru last week, dark hair. we need a drooling smiley. :laughing: other than him no one else really stands out to me.

I agree with that. It seems marketability is becoming more important than the best singer getting through. I hope it does not ruin the show.
I think the judges are going more for people who are marketable and not just those who can sing. They don't want another Taylor Hicks on their hands (or Sanjaya...) The new dad sang fine but he's not a "pop" type person who will sell any records.

Was just reading an article where apparently w/ hollywood week, they don't cut anyone for the first two days. If you sing bad, you're put into a group who gets a second chance, whereas if you're good, you make it to next round right away, or something like that.
Personally, I think I'm done w/ the show after the auditions this year, though might watch a little more to see what they change up in Hollywood.
One thing more publicized is that they'll let them play their own instruments, too, and not just sing. I don't think that helped the pan flute guy last night.

I'm glad that they didn't let everyone play their own instruments during auditions! I can just see 10,000 people that can't play anything trying to play something just to get on TV!!! Just like my daughter who swears that she can play the harmonica now ~ argh......there is you another good toy Johnny ~ or one of those little drum sets, ohhhh~ the horror :cussing:
