Any sign of the Oprah bag this year?

Got to sign up this morning...good luck everyone ~ I figure this will be like winning the lotto...about the same odds!
 
I like the odds better this year than in past years. I can never get to those things at a specific time. Im never gonna be the first 1000 or even 5000 of anything. I forget. Thats why I dont even bother with those allure sweeps.

I hear ya! I haven't bothered in years. I'm too busy cleaning something or whatever to remember. I get so bummed, though. Even if I do remember the site runs slow as mollasses because everyone and their grandma is entering.

And then there's the "Be one the first 20 to win"...fuhgettaboutit :booty"

Did mine earlier so I could drink some cold ones and bask in the sun. So much for the sunless tanner :laughing:

I hung the bed sheets and comforters on the line today. They smell SO nice :love:
 
Not much sun here today...thunderstorms coming in...but it felt so good this morning! We got up and went to the flea market this morning looking for some kittens...it was so nice outside!
 
Rain moving in tonight and gonna be here all week supposedly.

And flea marketing for kittens? I got a fresh batch one of the strays just had :laughing: I'm already waiting for them to get bigger so I can dump them off at my mother's friend's farm :laughing:
 
Yeah ~ country flea markets are the best..you can go buy tomatoes for your sandwich, flowers for the graveyard and pick up a kitten or goat all in one place! Plus today we got to meet everyone in the county...spring break brings out all of the kids ~ they love the flea market!
 
Oh...they had some of the cutest puppies today! They were Lab/Cocker Spaniel mixes and they were so pretty! I would have loved to have had one, but can't have one inside, and Scamper wouldn't like another dog on "his" territory!

I guess I need a farm...my kids were wanting bunnies, ducks, and even a goat before we got outta there!
 
We have a farm. Horses, a cat (who is a princess), ducks (who were wounded and now live here), 4 dogs... and two foxes. Yes, foxes.
Artie and Natasha's mother was found dead with them and I nursed them back to life. unfortunatly, they now think they are dogs, not foxes. The ducks are their friends and Artie actually defended the ducks from another fox last year. Cost me almost $550 in vet bills.

The only bad part about a farm is we get folks who dump dogs and cats out here. Most times, people shoot them (sorry city folks, but a wild dog or cat can kill livestock).

We have a hound and a female dog who is Austrialian shepard that wandered on here and my daughter found... yeah, like we'd get rid of her now. sheesh. lol. She had 4 puppies who are half shepard, half pitt. VERY bizaare looking dogs. They already have homes, will stay on the family compound lol.

Oh, I wish you would put some pictures of the animals on here...I would love to see a shepard/pit mix and the foxes especially! I can't believe you have pet foxes...that is the neatest thing ever!

We are wanting to buy at least 50 acres...hoping it will be pretty soon!
 
I got last years and really wasn't impressed with FOUR different sunless tan lotions and the most disgusting "energy bars" that are on the planet. Hell, the dog wouldn't even eat them.

this year, I'm even less impressed with the 'offers.'

The Allure boxes are MUCH better. They should be out in a month or so.
 
I've got a farm, too... currently 475 acres of greenish mud :laughing:. Some jerk dumped off their very pregnant cat, we shut it up so we could take it to the vet first thing. Well, first thing there was one very unpregnant cat and five kittens. Now I have to get Momma fixed in 12-14 weeks....

At least you aren't like John who brought home a male cat who was very fat. And use to ARGUE with me that it was a boy

I got this one last year. Just the one, cause of course that's all I entered. Boooooooo to cheaters :cussing:

Good luck everyone on getting one this year! (I gave about 3/4 of the stuff away to friends last year, but that's fun too!)
