Anyone have an experience like this before; any advice???

I received my microfrig from the Pespi Old School / New School game yesterday. When the UPS man delivered it, I told him that it kind of looked beat up. He said it was okay and the part of the box that appeared most damaged looked okay when I peaked inside.

My husband open the box today, and the entire engine portion of the refrigerator was hanging out and broken. It does not work at all. I am going to call UPS tomorrow.

Anyone have an experience like this before; any advice??? :cry:

I have been on hold with UPS for an hour now.

The last time I won a busted thingy (it was a logitech controller for a PS2) when I contacted the sponsor I ended up with two of them. So yes, by all means contact Pepsi.

After being told by UPS that since they did not call me back within 24 hours like they promise, they would have to start the ticket over. Of course they promised to call me in 24 hours. Makes no sense to me - I have been waiting for a call from them for six day now. I know I will never again use them to ship anything.

I found a phone number on the affy I had to send back - I will be calling them in the morning.
I will keep you updated on my progress!

Oh yes, same experience with UPS. I won the Heluva Good cheese contest. It was for tickets to Lowe's Race Track in NH. Only they delivered it to the wrong address. UPS just dropped it inside the screen door and front door of a house two doors down from me. Never got a signature. Problem the elderly couple that lives there were in FL. When they got home they gave me the envelope, the tickets were there but the race day was three week before. Called UPS, never heard back from them. Also, called the sponsor, Hood, never heard from them either. Sort of surprised because the sponsor is paying UPS big bucks to deliver their product. Maybe, sponsors should go back to using the United States Postal Service!!
 
Pepsi has been very good to me so far. They actually knew all about UPS – They had the microfrig picked up and will send a new one. Will let you know what happens.
