Yes, I have used bare minerals and simular products for a few years now and I love it. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only makeup that does not irritate my skin. I also agree with Mikki, it all depends on how you apply the product... My skin is far from flawless, but in my experience, mineral makeup has the ability to hide, cover and provides a far better result than other products without looking cakey or overmade, the result is a nearly flawless natural look. I live in a very hot climate (Las Vegas) and even on the hotest of days this makeup still holds up pretty good, although I have to 'powder' (magic veil) more frequently.
I mix 2 different shades to get the best match to my complexion, I also use the mult-tasking bisque, as a "cover-up" for trouble spots... also as an eye shadow base.
For an extra glow and highlight, try a "radient" concealer (use under eyes, in corners of eyes or to highlight cheekbones, Revlon use to make a good one, but I can't find it anywhere... A good subsitute is Cover Girls Advance Radience Concealer:

Also for a longer lasting "set" to the make-up, there is a product called Derma-blend that has a setting powder, I've used the original (translusent) and it works very well, it comes in loose and a compact.

Another tip is to properly prep your skin before applying makeup.
There was a dermatologist on TV a few days ago (I can't remember her name), but she writes books about make-up and skin care products... She tests them all in lab conditions, etc... Then she reports on them, she often has suggestions for cheaper products as well as using home made remedies... Anywho she said that there is no difference between the "Bare Minerals", "Sheer Mineral" and other high price mineral makeups.... She said that the mineral makeup products now offered by companies like Revlon, Cover Girl, etc., at your local drug store_ Rate just as good, cost less and have the same ingredients too!
A consult with a makeup artist might be a good idea for wedding/special occasion makeup, get some tips etc.

My mom is very curious about those Airbrush Makeup Infomercials... anyone tried that yet? It looks like a lot of trouble, especially if one is rushing to work.
