App for Chevron/Texaco promotion

I have downloaded the Chevron/Texaco app for the instant promotion. But, it will not work. A message appears when I hit the "play now tab", "Error Having some trouble connecting". I have uninstalled/ reinstalled the apps several times and emptied the cache and nothing works. Any techies up here that can help will be appreciated.

Sonya - in troubleshooting we start w/simplest & easiest to fix ;

1] did you get your unique security code?
2] are you at a location when you attempt to play?

TO Enter Download the Chevron or Texaco free mobile app onto your Web-enabled smartphone & register to be assigned a unique security code.
To play again, Daily^^^ you must activate the GPS locator within the App, be at a participating Chevron or Texaco location, click on the Promotions tab within the App and follow the prompts to play the Game.
