Bee feeding (video), dogs in bee suits

How cool is that I get lots of bees around the spring when all my bottlebrush shrubs bloom and they never sting me.

The haven't stung the stupid cat yet either and she keeps coming over and drinking the sugar syrup. I'm going to have a diabetic cat....I'm not going to try and get her in a bee suit though :crazytongue:

When we were in New York City the last weekend of October last year, when the "Bee Movie" was coming, people and animals all over were walking around dressed up as bees!

:sunny: My dog doesn't even like it when I put a raincoat on her to go outside. I finally gave up. She will sit in a chair and not move until I take it off. She certainly would not make a busy bee!

:sunny: They had a program last night on our local Public television on bees. It was very interesting. Some local couple was capturing a swarm of bees in someone's tree to take home. They estimated about 25,000 bees in that ball of bees! They dropped the swarm into a box and then poured them into the hive. It was all very interesting the way the told how the bees show the white of their wings to let the others know it's ok to go inside.

Dogs are so funny sometimes. I have a jack russel mix and she is so smart but when she doesn't want to do what I tell her like get off the bed she just turns and looks at me and then walks slowly off like she knows exactly what she's doing.

She would probably be scared of the bees.
