Okay ~ you guys have heard me mention just how nosy Ashelyn is...well, the little toot scared me to death today! I had a refill of Scotch Brite cleaner with bleach in the bathroom and she had sprayed some green soap in the sink and wanted to clean it up before me or her dad caught her. Well, she opens this package and the bleach is like a powder that is activated when it gets wet ~ she inhales some of it :cry: OMG ~ scared me to death! I called the the Kentucky Poison Control Center and was on the phone with them for a long, long time! She immediately started coughing and got a headache. We had to give her milk, an Advil, and put her in a hot steam bath to let her inhale the steam.

She is much better, but the cough is still there. The PCC has called me back twice, and will be calling me back tomorrow morning. They were really wonderful! I was lucky she didn't have an allergic reaction! Kid is going to be the death of me yet!!!
 
:laughing: OMG! The duties of mom just never seem to end! Some kids just keep mom busier than others. Thankfully, she is ok.
 
I am so glad she is ok! Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world, I have had plenty of scares out of mine and they still manage to scare me from time to time. Big hugs from me!!
 
I don't have gray hairs yet, but I just don't know how ~lol!! She is a handful, to say the very least!

You can have mine! (Gray hair that is :laughing: ). I am 30 and have had strands growing for years now. :cry: Hair dye is my best friend.
 
I've been lucky ~ I'm am 37 and never had the first one! Trust me, my older sister has gotten me down and checked. After which I get smacked in the head and the words "I hate you!" :laughing:
 
lol, yeah...I use to be able to say that I didn't have any but, now? :cussing: My dh started getting gray hairs in his early 20s, he will be 32 next month.
 
My sister had a boyfriend that had lost most of his hair by age 18, so I'm not going to complain to much!! I do have hair ~ well, at least until my hubby or kids make me pull it out!!

She'd have that sucker picked in 10 minutes! It would be a challenge ~ don't challenge the child!!

She is still up and rolling at 1:25 ~ she thinks it is going to snow tonight ~ I'm not holding my breath, we never get much here (thank goodness). She will be falling asleep during school tomorrow!
 
omg! Im so glad she is ok. That must have been very scary for yall. They take years off your life sometimes with the stuff they do. :laughing:
 
Tam you know my youngest Rachel was just like that. Always in everything and sticking things up her nose and so on. Well you get the picture. :laughing: I'm so glad Ashelyn is ok. :love: I tell you they can always keep you worrying about them thats for sure.
 
Kids! Gods way of saying "Gottcha" So glad all is well today. The poison control center is so very great. Hard to believe it is a government agency. I had a girlfriend who called them so often that they actually called her up one time because it had been so long since she had called them! This was also in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
glad she is ok. This reminds me of when kailey was 3 she found my deodrant and took a huge bite out of it. I heard her making wierd noises, so I went and picked her up. Deodrant fell to the floor, then I looked in her mouth, there was white in it. I called poison control, they said it wasn't a big deal, she would be ok, the most it does is just taste nasty.
Shes never done that agian. lol.
