BLIZZARD CONDITIONS HERE!!

We're on the east end of Long Island. They said further south was going to get hit with the most snow. Someone we know across the Sound in Connecticut said they were getting some snow; but, smack here in the middle, I guess we're in a dead zone!

Scratch that! Now, he's saying he woke up to no snow. I guess some started there last night but piddled out.

OP, where are you? I'm in south central Pa.

I can't get out any of my doors, and have no clue how to let my dog out to pee!!

I can't even see out half my windows because the snow and ice has frozen on them.

I'd say we are up to about 2 1/2 feet so far, and it's not suppose to stop until around 6pm. Then Tuesday, we're suppose to get up to 5 more inches!

It's a good thing I love snow! :headbang:

We didn't have the winds either but we got 14" yesterday and it's still snowing today... said we are to get 6-10" today - it's insane because we didn't have anything on the ground when it started!!!!

Maryland here...About 2 1/2 feet so far with white out conditions...Had to dig trenches in the snow for the animals to go out to bathroom and play a little bit....We are getting slammed here!! It's been snowing for almost 30 hours here!! What a mess!!! Went four wheelin while ago...Poor snow-plow drivers can't keep up with it all!!!

We know a truck driver that just made to New Jersey through it all. I must say, though, Virginia and North Carolina are really bad when it comes to plowing and salting.

Getting ready for another round of snow heading our way...What they are calling a Nor'Easter....

Weatherman predicting another 5-8 here starting late tonight thru Weds. Last time they said 5-8 we got 15 to I am bracing for the worst. And, why do the weathermen always smile when they tell you that it is going to get bad outside?

Because if they act all devistated and upset, people will go into a panic!

I personally LOVE IT! We're suppose to get another 10''.

I say bring it on! :headbang:

No snow but freezing here. Gosh it's gonna be high of 30 Monday! OUCH. Glad I got my new jacket from Nautica Sweepstakes. I love Nautica!!! Got special Nautica Logo Tee's too for a photo shoot soon to happen. Details later

*Update* Got 4 inches of snow........Now who has the weather machine and sent it my way? It's a mess in my town. Bread and milk gone from stores, nobody knows how to drive in it, and those snowballs hurt! LOL

Brace yourselves!

More snow predicted for Monday!!

We're up to 4 1/2 feet right now! For the past 2 days, I've had to pick up my dog and carry her out in to the (plowed) road to pee. She took one step out the back door, and I lost her!

The forecast for Friday in central Alabama is 3 to 5 inches of snow.
Since snow here is rare could be closed to a record.

They've been promising us snow all winter. 4 storms all over 10 inches. We've yet to accumulate an inch all winter! I am about to call the weather men and suggest they either get rid of their super doplar or find new careers. :fired:

Yesterday, all the schools were closed, the kids had a great day off and there was no snow!

We were slammed last year here in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State) - I'm in my 60's and have never seen so much snow! But, it still was never as bad as the ice storm we had back in the early 90's. Power was out everywhere for weeks. That was the worst - no heat, no hot water -- not even coffee. No generators to be found anywhere. Wish all of you the best back there -- we are thinking of all of you!

By, the way, this year it seems like we skipped winter -- hardly any snow at all. And, now I have never seen such a dry winter.

Forecasting the weather is the only job I can think of that you can be wrong over 50% of the time and not get fired. Can you imagine what it would be like if an air traffic controller did their job with the same accuracy .... not pretty! :nono:

:sunny: It's been a mild winter here on the Oregon coast. Yesterday was a high of 57. We did have high wind warnings last nite, but we expect that here. The wind is blowing pretty good right now with some rain but it is still in the 50's this morning.
