I just won $100.00 Visa Gift Card from Blog Her, the only question I have ,has anyone won from this site, they are asking me to fill out a W-9 and I really don't want to give them a SS# , do you have to since the price is 100.00.
 
Why don't you ask them?
I read on here once about a girl declining to do so for another company and she
was still able to receive her prize.

Hmmm...why would they make you fill a w-9 for a small prize?
Some states require you to fill one out when you win over say $500.
You should check what the requirement is in your state.

Sponsors can ask for a W-9 for any prize that they give out as many of them do use them for filing their own taxes as a deduction. You can however ask them to waive this for you, but they don't have to. Good Luck.

The only W-9 I've ever filled out for a prize was from a hotel where I won points for a weeks stay.

I won a $100 gift card from BlogHer back in May. All I had to fill out was a release agreement with my name and address, no SSN needed. Maybe they've changed their policy since then.
If you don't want to give your SSN out then it can't hurt to ask if you have to provide it in order to claim your prize.
