choosing sweepstakes to enter

Well, summer is ending and that means its back to taking classes and teaching classes for me!

That means less time for sweeps and prizes :( I am going to have to cut down a lot of my sweepstakes. How do y'all choose which sweepstakes to enter? I have seen some people who will only enter a daily of the arv of the prize is more than a certain amount.

I choose by 1) is it something I would like to have or be able to use 2) is it something a family member would like to have or be able to use 3) is it something that would be a good donation to a charity or other worthy cause. Of course, if it is for cash, I go for it. What people enter can only be decided by them, since everyones wants and needs are different. One thing I don't do is enter for things I have no reason for getting. I only enter for NASCAR trips because I really don't like to travel that much, but I love NASCAR. Good luck and bless you for being a teacher!!!

Back-to-school time does bring a whole new time management routine for many of us. I like this time of year, re-organizing, re-starting.

For entering sweeps, in general, I only enter for items I really would use or enjoy, (so that includes cash, gift cards, some trips and big items like cars) but sometimes I will enter daily for a low-cost item like a DVD, even though that may not be the most efficient use of my time.

Often, I cannot enter all the sweeps I would like to enter every single day. I chose to be a Sweeps Plus Member, and by making use of the additional tools in Sweeps Plus, I can prioritize my sweeps by creating categories. For example, I have a must-enter Short List (which I try to limit to about 25 daily entry sweeps) and I can always manage to enter those, even on days when I can't make time for other sweeps. I also created my own category for Instant Wins. I try to enter them all daily via the SA instant win category, but there are some that are less important to me, so I save them in Instant Wins II, which is my way of weeding them out in case I want to skip them when I am too busy or tired.

It is different for everyone and it is interesting and helpful to see how people decide what to enter and what to skip.
