Contest Rule Change - Because of Me??

So our local NBC,CBS and MY11 stations are under one building and all contests are run by the same people(really nice people). So if you win on any of these stations you see the same person to get your prize( I know her well). Now I win a lot of stuff from the stations. I always still assumed that although under on roof it is still different stations. Just like radio stations have multiple stations in the same building. Well after 5 years of winning on all 3 T.V. stations the rules have changed. I learned this after winning tickets for the Daytona races, I was told 90 Days until the next win, for ANY of the stations. So I will miss out on the Gatornationals contest and the up coming Mardi Gras Universal Orlando, Bummer.

I think it is because I win so much that the rules were changed. Not sure but it really sucks.

RULES
12.) Only one winner per household is allowed every 90 days for a WNBW-TV, WMYG-TV, and WGFL-TV contest.

They should call it the Griffin Rule

So you're the one who ruined my chances for multiple prizes. Shame on you! Shame shame shame!

Actually I've seen more and more radio/tv station conglomerates adding this rule on the Gulf coast. Especially for smaller markets where the chance of multiple wins are much higher.

In some respects, I think that is fair.

I understand you being frustrated, but it gives other people a chance to win & get excited.
I guess now is a good time to look for new radio stations! :)

Cheers,

Johnathan

Oh, Boo! Well, I suppose I understand the stations wanting different winners, but how disappointing for you! Oh well, with your luck, something better is just around the corner! :)

A lot of radio stations do have a policy in their rules that you have to wait a specific amount of time after winning to enter again. They probably just got up to speed with the rest of them.

90 Days is a bit much.

30 I can deal with. I have a system for that length of time.

90 Days you miss to many contests.

The 90 day blackout does make it so I become very choosy with what I enter. Sure, I'm almost guaranteed to get free car show tickets or a station-sponsored concert if I enter, but in return, for those 90 days, I might miss out on some good theme park prize packs or big name concert tickets I really want to go to.

Tricky, tricky, Mr. Radio Station. I see what you're up to now.
