Who wants to win a coupon? No one!
I detest emails sent to me about coupons.
I sure would not want to win a coupon----ever!!

I like coupons for stuff I use, if you didn't win the free product coupon than the coupon is for a dollar off, any coupon I don't use I leave for others by the product
Yep I'm an official "coupon angel " funny I've had people follow me around and give thank me at the commissary, someone on a tight budget is very happy to have those few extra dollars in coupons

In the Sunday newspaper which cost money or print them which cost money for ink and paper not really free, unless its a tear off at the store

cats_ I see your point, but if you think of sweeps as a type of advertising, then coupons make sense from the sponsors' point of view. Just like reading a magazine, if you come across a coupon, just turn the page, or delete it, if it is in your email. It is a little extra work, but quickly done.

The world is big and diverse, so as you can see, some people detest coupons and coupon wins and others like and use them. There is room for all of us, and our likes and dislikes make life more interesting.

In some cases, you can choose not to enter sweeps that consider coupons as wins. If you do enter and win, please don't spoil it for the people who use coupons.

There are some big wins I would not want, like certain sports or fashion items that are not my taste. Sometimes I would rather have a little coupon I could use.

I so agree about the coupons!! Been playing the Silk sweeps and even though I didn't win the big prize I did score a $1.00 off half-gallon of Silk Almond Milk...and at $3.28 for a half-gallon I am delighted to get a $1.00 off!!! A $1.00 saved is a $1.00 earned at least on my grocery bill!!!

I try to not say anything negative, but looking back I might have said a couple negative things oops:( When you try to participate in the forum sometimes I think in my case I just write what I'm thinking at the moment you hit post then it is there... Wish I had been more positive you all. Sweeping is a wonderful hobby, and I love it, a penny saved is a penny earned to me with no job lol!! From now on I'm only going to say positive things.

Also, we are forgetting the cost of postage nowadays. Isn't it like 49 cents per envelope. I don't know about you but 20,000 X (stamps)+ the coupon for one dollar is quite a large amount of money. I'm always grateful when I see new companies do sweepstakes it's so cool!

doll38 - it can get frustrating when you enter for a specific prize and win the {IYP} yucky prize, and letting that frustration out can be cathartic - as long as you don't overdo & pitch yourself into a negative spiral!
