I didn't know who Cristina is either, so I looked her up. She is a Cuban-born talk show host who came to the US when she was a child. She had a talk show on Univision and she is also an actress. Considered a role model for Hispanic women.
She sounds really interesting!

Truthfully, I was starting to get a little, itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny bit depressed ... almost 2 years is a long time! :crazytongue:
I guess that when you do your 1000'th post good things happen! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
I've got my key Spanish phrase already memorized! "No habla Espanol" que?????
I've checked her out too. Sorta a Cuban Oprah ... in fact her show was on Univision last night ... interesting ... sort of a rabid Oprah, whom you can't understand, on steroids! :laughing: But, I've never been to a taping of a talk show so it should be interesting. I am sure they don't require you to go to the show, but you only go around the old barrio once in a lifetime! So grab El Toro by the horns and suffer through the estrogen flood! Nod occasionally and say "Si, Si!"
But really, it should be fun. Hit some of the tourist spots. Maybe even extend the time there and boogie off to the Carribean on a 4 day cruise! I have a sister in N. Carolina I'm going to try to con into coming down too!

I just got word from ePrize that they received my affys and I passed with flying colors. (I guess :laughing: )
So I am all official now! I guess the next step is waiting on AARP to get in touch with me. The rules said I would be contacted promptly ... whatever that means.
If anybody wonders who she is her show will be on tonight on Univision @10 pm EDT.
