Went to the 3:10pm movie (with the fandango ticket I won from Blingo 2 weeks ago :laughing:), got out @ 6:20pm...... All I can say is WOW Great friggn' movie. Xcellent.. Love it.. I give it 5 starts all the way.... Full of action from start to finish... To be honest one of the best movies I seen in awhile... Must See

:cry: I miss heath ledger. He was one of my fav actors. I'm still not sure if I will see that movie. I did watch the thing on tv about the premier and all the stuff about Heath ledger, it was real good.

All I gotta say is..*&$#%! :laughing: went to the drive in tonight to see it.. got there 2 hours before it started. And they were all full. :cussing: I was so mad. omg!.. I couldn't believe it. anyway, went to borders and bought on-film mag with batman on the cover,had 2 other mags in my hand but at 10.00 each I put the other two back. cant spend 30.00 on mags no matter how much I love batman.. then went to walmart and bought the bank job with jason statham so batman mag, and jason statham isnt to bad of a night. The movie would have been a much better night but oh well. try again next weekend.

Glad you enjoyed it champ. :popcorn: I want to see it for christian bale although I have heard that ledgers performance is amazing.

I have been talking about this movie for months. :laughing: Im a little obsessed with it. Im not going to the theater.. I will wait till next weekend and go to the drive in... again. I really wanted to see it opening weekend though.

My niece and her husband went to see it over the weekend...I wanted to go with them so badly! Heard it was so good. Maybe me and Jimmie will go and see it for my birthday...

What part does Michael Anthony Hall play in the movie?

I just finished watching it. Very good movie! It's a much deeper film than I expected. I loved Ledgers Joker. He tapped into something and made his character so twisted and frantic but with an underlying clarity and genius always at work. Nicholson's Joker can't compare. I'm not too sure I agreed with the "growly" Batman voice though. That's the only issue I had with the movie....Batphlegm. I read a bunch of reviews that dogged Aaron Eckhart for being to bland but I thought he was excellent. Definitely the best action movie of the year. Yes...even better than Ironman I think. Now...bring on The X-Files!

While I am no fan of theatres and Batman, we are going next weekend with another couple to see it and I can't wait. Dinner and a movie with grown ups :headbang: Columbus has an really nice IMAX theatre so it ought to be a good time.

Seeing the previews and how diabolical Heath Ledger makes the joker is what sold me. Thanks for the great reviews, guys!

Hehe...I didn't mind it in Batman Begins but in this one I kept wanting to get him a Sucrets or a Ricola. :crazytongue: Gosh I'm getting old. Do they even sell Sucrets anymore?!

gonna try again tonight. I hope we get there in time. you would think 2 hrs early would be early enough. it usually is.. :scratch: If you dont get there early you get stuck on the end of the row and that sucks. keeping my fingers crossed.

I still haven't seen this yet.
My mom and I went today and saw "Mamma Mia" it was soooooo good. Love the chick flicks.
Wed my mom is going to take kailey to see Wall-e and rocky and I will go see batman.

I got to see it.. :headbang: :headbang: what can I say.. omg! I loved it. big surprise huh? It was so good. ledger was amazing. I actually found myself wishing he was in every single scene. Bale was great of course but watching ledger as the joker just blew me away. Oscar winning performance for sure.

I was a little worried about the 2 1/2 hr length but it doesn't seem that long. It moves along nicely. I will definitely go see it again.

Glad to see you got to go and loved it! It rained here off and on last night so we didn't go. I would have messed it up for us, though. I forgot you'd said one would have to leave way early to get a spot.

We saw it yesterday. It was awesome!!! Loved Heath ledger in it. He was very creepy though. But it showed how good of an actor he could be.

I didn't like batmans voice it was wierd.

So does anyone think they ended this movie....like they are going to make another one?
If so, how will they do it without heath ledger. I think he was by far the best joker.

What was with the stories he told about how he got the scars? He said first his dad did it to him. Then 2nd something about his wife, and him doing it to himself.

I liked the two boats...and how they didn't blow each other up.
Do you think if you were in that situation. Would you have chose to push the button?
 
glad you liked it tiff. I dont know if they will make another one or not..Christopher Nolan hadnt planned on making a sequel to batman begins so who knows. With the success of the dark knight he might. I cant see anyone else doing it.

There are a lot of villains to choose from. The joker was just one of many. I would like to see one that hasnt already been done. I dont want to see the penguin, riddler or catwoman.
