This summer Mountain Dew conducted an American Dew Sweepstakes in which they awarded almost 4000 $250 gift cards. I won one of those gift cards. I was saving my gift card to put toward a larger purchase once I saved the rest of the money I needed. I recently discovered that Mountain Dew disabled the site to which winners went to claim and use their gift card. I contacted Mountain Dew and after some back and forth, I helped them realize that what they had done was possibly illegal. Ultimately, they replaced the gift card I lost. If anyone else has similarly also lost their gift card, you need to go to the Mountain Dew website and go to the bottom of the page and email them through the “Contact Us” link. Let them know that you are one of the winners who lost access to the gift card you won. They should replace it.
