I'm going to be baby-sitting my great-niece, who is 14-months old and just adorable. I love spending time with her. She really keeps me entertained. I can't believe how fast she's growing up! I hope I can stay awake until midnight but I think this will be me when the clock strikes 12:00 :sleepy: LOL. I hope you all have a happy and safe New Year and may we all win big in 2009!
 
sounds like fun.. Thats a great age... then they learn to talk and have their own unique personality.. :crazytongue:

We dont do anything on new years.... to many drunks on the road so we just hang out at the house.

Really, I will probably be in bed by the time the New Year comes in or on the computer! My age is really showing tonight...

I haven't went out since I was in my teens!

I plan on going out to get drunk and then getting another tattoo. JK DH and I will be staying home and wishing the fireworks would stop because my dog gets freaked out with all the noise.
 
we have my daughter this year... so we're staying home....

Music, Crab Legs, Large Baked Pots., Garlic Butter Shrimp, Deviled Eggs & Champagne of course.

I'll be listening to loud music with headphones while the drunks at the trailer park fire 100's of rounds with their automatic weapons.

Hubby and I were almost killed by a drunk driver last year, coming home from a friends party. So, we have decided to have a good New England winter bbq here and have a quiet night together. :sunny:
 
Hubby is once again out of town. So will be spending the evening with my handsome little (well kinda little) puppy Forest. We will for sure be in bed before midnight. He usually lays down about 8pm for the night and doesn't awake until about 8am (stirs a bit, but doesn't bark for attention). So it will be a very quiet night here.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. I hope the best for everyone in 2009!

Hubby just came home from the neighbors to tell me we were going to be partying at their house for New Years. Hope you all have a happy, healthy, winning New Year!

thats awful :love: That is why we dont go out.. well that and we dont drink. :laughing: a bbq sounds nice. I prefer sitting at home with the kids. Its just too dangerous to go out. I hate hearing about some drunk wiping out a family just coming home from church or something. :cussing:

I would hope that drunk wouldn't be at church at 2 AM when the bars close. lol

But seriously drinking and driving don't mix. Please folks if you are going to drink do so responsably.

Yes indeed so true. That was my attempt at humor there in case it wasn't obvious with the lol. I guess I better work on that humorous side of me.
