I got this email and can't find this sweepstakes anywhere. My daughter did use David's Bridal when she got married 3 years ago but don't remember entering anything for makeup. What do you think?

I am reaching out to you to let you know that you have won a Mary Kay Prize Package, which includes free products, from our Registered Bride Drawing that we do monthly with David's Bridal! Call or text me at xxx-xxx-xxxx or please feel free to email me back at this address to coordinate! Congratulations and I look forward to hearing from you!!

I would say it does not hurt to email them back to find out either way. If they ask for money then you know it's not legit.

I emailed back and got this response (I have been married for 35 years!)

Thanks for your email and here are all the details. We are the official skin care and beauty sponsor for David's Bridal and we do monthly drawings for their brides and you are one of the February winners. You have won a Pamper Package, which includes a hand and lip softening treatment and a facial for you and up to 5 additional ladies (mom, sisters, aunts, grandmother, friends and/or bridesmaids) and as the bride you get to pick out $20 in free products.
You actually have a few options for your pampering - We have a few locations where we can get you all set up at and you may come individually or with guests, or we have travel days set aside where we can come out to you to redeem your pampering for more of a fun girls day in. Whereabouts are you located?

I would do a "reverse" telephone number lookup and find out who the owner of the number is.... I'm always afraid of " computer bugs" especially if you don't remember entering it... good luck keep us posted

I agree with checking with David's Bridal. If this is connected with them, then fine, it is legit. If it isn't, then they need to know that their name is being used in a scam. I'm sure they would want to know this.
