Dreams....

 Anybody think dreams ever come true? Or just some wierd thing that happens when your stressed or something?

I wasn't feeling well, real tired so I just took a nap. In my dream I was at some haunted place with my dad and some other people. Well some "psycho" was either trying to hurt me or rape me. That was real scary.
But for some reason that wasn't the most disturbing part of the dream. My teeth kept falling out. The whole half of my teeth were already out. And then more were coming out. I would wiggle them with my fingers then they would come out. I was just thinking, how horrible is this, I wont be able to eat or nothing, etc. Well the dream ended with me calling my mom on the phone. Omg it was so wierd and scary.

Heres what I think.... I've heard alot about rape today because of that case on the news. And maybe my daughter teeth are going to fall out soon.. cause she will be 5 in june. Or maybe its because I have a dentist appt, and they want to charge $165. I can't go until we get our income tax back. hmmmm I have the strangest dreams. Anyone else have wierd ones like this?

I don't as much since I am on new medicine, but I used to have some real strange dreams! I dreamed that one of my really good friends died and then she did like 2 weeks later, but it wasn't the same way. In my dream she died by drowning, we aren't really sure what happened to her in real life, but she didn't drown! I HATE to dream that people die ~ scares the crap out of me!

It's funny how I can sometimes change my dreams, but lately I can't even remember them ~ so I guess if I am changing them they aren't a big deal!

I think you hit the nail on the head also, you will put a lot of things that you have on your mind in your dreams ~ I think it is your minds way of releasing stress!

Several years ago, I had the following recurring dream: I was in the backyard of a house (I presume I lived there). Something catches my eyes in the sky. I look up and notice a large (airplane size) white bird-like object...completely white with large feathers and wings...which were slowly flapping as it moved across the sky. No sound came from the being...complete silence. Then the scene shifts....

I'm not standing in a crowded train carriage. It is moving down tracks through a suburban area. Out the windows in the distance are nothing but fires. Fire is everywhere, consuming buildings and trees...the land has become a fiery nightmare. There are tv screens in the carriages...tuned to a news channel. A terrified reporter is commenting on what he sees from his vantage point...the fires, the devestation, the deaths.

I look around at the other people in the carriage. I ask someone next to me what has happened. He told me that everyone on the train was dead (us included) and that we were eye-witnesses to the global devastation. It was then I noticed that the train was not on fire. Somehow the firestorm raging outside was not affecting the train at all.
======================================================

Anyone care to interpret this? I'm not religious actually, but I realize it could be something dealing with the end times, how the world would be destroyed by fire. But there was nothing that would indicate, to me, that this nightmare had anything to do with religion. I just don't know. I do know the dream frightened me every time I dreamt it. But then one day, it just disappeared, and it has never bothered me again.

hmmm that is a wierd dream. I have no idea about that one.

speaking of trains. When I was a teenager I used to have this dream all the time. From what I remeber, A train would pull up. A little girl would climb up the steps, and turn around and say, follow me, and she would wave at me. I would run to the train, and then stop, and look at the train. I could feel something wasn't right. So I would turn around and run away. All of a sudden everyone on the train turned to skeletons, and A man came out and yelled at me, "I'll be back for you!!!"

HMM lol that used to scare me. Have you ever watched that movie about the people died, when the baby was being born, and they were all connected. And so the baby could see the ghosts. But the ghosts couldn't leave until they finished what they were sopposed to do. So the guy (baby) had to help them. And then when they were done the "ghost" cab came and picked them up? And they had that song that was like, "Walk like a man, talk like a man...." Well I think I had that dream from watching that movie to many times.

I hope they don't  If they do I'm in big trouble. First I will leave blockbuster after taking all my clothes off and running around the store screaming wheres christian bale!!!, I will then be followed home by killer vacuum cleaners, I will start dinner for Dante from devil may cry all the while listening to the seven dwarfs sing papa roach songs. hmmmm, that could be a very interesting day now that I think about it

Dreams may sometimes seem strange or frightening, but they are simply manifestations from our subconscience. Dreams reflect our feelings, fears, insecurities, happiness, sadness, fear of death, personal traumas, etc. Dreams can be negative or positive. More times than not, negative dreams are a sign of an underlying problem. You can learn alot about a person from their dreams. That's why psychologists have a big interest in their patient's dreams. They can learn more about the patient from their dreams, helping them address the problem(s) better. We covered dreams in psychology class in college. That was one of my favorite subjects of that course.

lol too funny!!!

When I was like 9 or 10. I had this one dream/hallucination I guess. I remeber waking up from a nightmare, walking into the hallway, and looking into my moms room. By her bed I saw a zebra!! A real one, and it was talking on the phone. Then I started crying and my mom got out of bed and got me. It was so wierd. I still think I really saw a zebra in my moms room. lol.

I have a lot of strange dreams and they linger all day and bother me. I usually check them out on the dream dictionary sites, although I doubt that is what the true meanings are. It helps me feel a little better though.

For a week straight last week I had a dream that I had a baby or was taking care of a baby. (No, not pregnant!) I have scary dreams all the time too, most I won't discuss. I have decided long ago not to discuss my dreams with people anymore as some of my dreams have in fact came true and I don't want that anymore...

(((hugs))) We all understand what emotions dreams can bring us.

Ever had a sweepstakes dream? I had one last night.

I won this trip to NYC, and had to find this women in this huge office complex in downtown NY. So I finally find her office, and she gives me an envelope with the trip details, I quickly glance at the hotel details. Then she hands me this Large Manila envelope stuffed with cash for spending money. But the money is not like neatly bundled, just kinda thrown in in different denominations, including a $484 dollar bill. And I think "that is weird, I have never seen a $484 dollar bill" LOL.

Then she hands me a stack of her mail, and says, as long as you are going by the mailbox, can you mail these out for me. And I say sure. Then she tells me the mailbox is over in Building 5. So I have to go find the mailbox, which takes forever. But instead of just dropping her mail in the mailbox, I put in my envelope with my trip details and the manilla envelope with all the cash in the mailbox!

Then I go into a total panic because I can't remember the hotel name, lost all the money, etc. And wake up!

lol I have sweeps dreams alot. I usually win a bunch of toys or stuff that my family likes. And The dream goes real good. But when I wake up, i'm so mad that it wasn't for real. lol

My sister has really strange dreams ~ she had a dream where her neighbor had a baby and she went to see her for the first time and she told her to go look in the baby bed...when she got in there the baby was made out of hamburger meat. She said it was really strange because it was moving like a baby, but parts would be falling off and they would be sticking them back on ~ lol!!

omg! Thanks for the mental image.

She said that they kept asking her if she wanted to hold the baby and she kept on saying "no" and they were really getting upset because she wouldn't.

Just so you will know ~ Karen is mental anyway ~ just like me

I wonder what Fraud would come up with sexual cogitations with THAT dream??? lol

Being Chinese (or half Chinese) we have a lot of 'interpretations' of dreams... personally, I don't believe in it all.

Try being Asian and having those type of dreams. You whole family will tell you what it means and everything is very different! lol.

I went back to sleep when I sent the kids on the bus this morning. I woke up because, I had some disturbing dreams that wouldn't stop even when I tossed and turned. They were so disturbing that my feelings are now hurt and what happened in the dream just won't go away.

I don't sleep anymore..I don't sleep anymore because of the bullshhhhh I'm goin' through... I'm so tired all the time,... totally worn out...

When I do dream, it's scary, I dream of the person that turned my life upside down .... I think I dream of this person because of what they've done to me and how it has consumed my life...

I hate that this person is even in my dreams now.... I can't shake it.. no matter how hard I try... It sucks to try and deal with what this person has done and now he's in my dreams....
