I received an official email and attached release forms, etc. and was excited to think it was a trip as it said first prize. Only to read through and find it is for movie tickets!! I do appreciate the win, but gosh.. .. isn't that a bit much to have to sign and fax documents for a $13 prize?

... then, in the official rules it says I will receive a code which expires 3/31/14 for a movie certificate which must be used within 3 months....

Not to be a sore winner, but gee whiz!!!

Kind of have a feeling the prizes were not accepted by original winners and they are sending out to others who entered !

Anyone else get one?
 
Brings back memories of a prize I won from McCalls or Redbook?? Crayolla win and would cost more to fax back than the prize was worth. Turned that one down. Sounds like someone might have done that with It's disappointed to get a win like that. Hoping your next win with be better.
 
Well, Gee Whiz is right! I had to send back papers for a $25 win last year and I thought that it wasn't really necessary for that amount, either. Maybe the part about the March 2014 expiration is wrong and your code # will be more currant. I hope so. I think between the $13, the far away theatre, and the paperwork, I'd probably pass on this one, like, possibly, many others did. Good luck in the future.
 
I know how you feel. I got an email this morning that I was a "potential" winner for a sticker/decal from Lance Snacks. It would cost more in postage than it's worth so I'm declining.
 
If I had received that e-mail, I would have thought for sure that it was a trip. I hope you get to use your tickets!
