I got a n email from eprize today, said they sent my prize via USPS back in OCT 2008. I never got it.So I guess I'm screwed, because they say so.

I've only had that happen once to me before, but mail and packages do get lost and stolen. So, I just chalk it up to that. If ePrize says they sent it, they probably did.

I feel for you-its so discouraging to win and not get prize. Same thing happened to me with $100 Target card from TBS last year. I

Thats an idea, if your local PO can do it. I was told they had to know exactly when it was sent which to get from a sponsor is like pulling teeth especially if time has passed.

Thanks for the replies, they told me it was sent 10/08/2008 via USPS with no tracking number, so the PO would not be able to track it as far as I know. I did receive another $50 gift card around that time but it was from another contest. I don't remember what contest it was, but maybe they were the Admin. for it also. I had the info on my old PC that died and I have searched SA for that win, but can't find it. It's possible that I didn't post it to the winners circle, but to the comments for that sweeps, only. Did anyone win a Best Buy $50 GC from another sweeps around that time ? If so, what was the name of the sweeps ? Oh well, lesson learned, write it down from now on.

the same thing just happened to me - I won a $20 gift card back on Aug 29 from the ford sweepstakes Partner Recognition Program Sweepstakes 2008 - 6-8 week later I wrote to e-prize - they said "We apologize for the delay in the receipt of your prize. Please allow a few more weeks for your prize to arrive. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding" - I wrote again on Sep 24 and got this reply "We do apologize for any confusion, but per the Official Rules, all prizes will be received within 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the promotion. The Promotion Period concludes on December 30. Please allow the requested amount of time to receive your prize". So I waited and waited and finally in April, around the 12th, I wrote again asking where my prize was and again, a different reply "Our records indicate that all prizes were shipped on December 12, 2008. We have received no returned prizes to our office. You will be contacted at the email address that you entered upon registration in the event that your prize is returned." I wrote back and asking about the conflicting information what would happen if it was not returned to them and I got a nasty letter (at least I thought it was) that stated "ePrize is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. As stated in our previous email, you will be contacted in the event that your prize is
returned to our office
"

This is my first bad experience with e-prize but it has left a bad taste in my mouth

With every IW I immediately record the time in my calendar, save the print screen to a Word doc & make a copy of the screen shot and file it. I also keep all my wins in an Excel spreadsheet so I can easily look and see what I have and haven't received. When I won Hellmanns a couple weeks ago I never received the conf email they told me to look for so after three days I sent a copy of the screen shot to the admin. In a couple days I received a conf email and the prize details. I'm now waiting for two wins from Eprize/Total Beauty sweep from Nov, 08. Eprize did finally rtn an email stating I should be receiving them "shortly."

I do the same with the screen shot and putting it into Word, but then I also send it as an attachment to myself and file it in my e-mail. I also keep a Google calendar with the sweeps wins on it and name them (for example) "pending Total Beauty ARV $100" (and put more in the description if desired) until I actually get the prize, then I rename it to "won Total Beauty" and I put in the comments the date I received it in the mail. If I e-mail the company inquiring about the prize I put that in the comments in the calendar, as well as what their response was, if any).

You can do a search on the google calendar for the word "pending" and that way you can see all the prizes you are still waiting to receive. It also helps keep up with your $$$ amounts - I keep a weekly total (it's not hard to total 0 + 0 ) so it's easier to see what your weekly, monthly, yearly wins are.

I do all the screen shot things, and have the screen shot for my win, i sent that to eprize and they still refuse my prize. They say it was sent, how convenient, what better way to not pay off than to say it was sent with no way to track it. Why would they send it with no way to confirm, unless they are skimming the prize money.

:sunny: I still am very happy with Eprize!!! They send out thousands of prizes every day. I trust them alot more than I do the mail system. If they had told me that my prize was sent, I certainly would not doubt them. I also do not think that they put the fox in charge of the hen house.
Sorry that your prize was not received but unless you have proof I wouldn't be so hasty to point fingers.

I do not have any gift card from eprize that was from the Kaplan in it to win it contest. They are a big scam company. They say they that is was sent, but they dont give any number to confirm

Wow! I can understand being upset for not receiving a prize, but your accusations are completely unfounded not to mention completely unfair. Also, if you had read the rules as you acknowledged by entering the sweepstakes, you would also note that it states clearly that screen shots are not accepted as proof of a win; and their disclaimer in the rules protects them from any mechanical, technical, or human errors that is beyond their control.

I'm surprised you haven't accused the carrier responsible for delivering your prize of anything.

Im sorry you didnt get your prize and I understand your frustration. That being said, Eprize is not a scam. Can they be a little slow in responding to emails and shipping prizes? Sometimes sure. Considering the number of sweeps they handle I can see why there may be a delay from time to time And They cant ship what they dont have.

It probably just got lost in the mail. It does happen. I have received every prize from them that I was supposed to. Sometimes it took awhile but thats part of sweeping.

Good luck and I hope you get a great win soon.

If it sounded like I was pointing a finger, well maybe they need a finger pointed at them. After all, we all know, that these sweeps are for advertising sponsors products. So I feel that eprize has an obligation not only to sponsors, but to potential customers as well. To send something like that, with no way to verify that it gets to the proper place, is at the very least, irresponsible. And as far as the screen shot goes, I got an email from them saying that I won. Then, after multiple emails with no answer, returned on the very same winning notification, they finally say, we sent that out. No I'm sorry or what can we do to make it up to you, or anything, just, you either got it or you didn't. I have received prizes from them in the past, and certainly will not refuse them in the future. However, I don't think much of their business practices. While it is entirely possible that it was lost or stolen in the mail, eprize gets the ultimate blame for sending it with no tracking. You can agree or disagree, but when or if it happens to you, you might get my point.

I have won a $25 card for best buy and it has not arrived to date. It was won 11 /30 /2008. Eprize is a non-award web site.

:sunny: EPRIZE IS NOT A SCAM nor is it a non-award site! Please keep those negative untrue statements to yourself. Members here have received thousands of prizes from EPRIZE and look forward to receiving many more.
Perhaps there is another reason that you are not getting yours.

Speaking of "other reasons"....The contractor involved in transporting mail to our main distribution point was just arrested for stealing  I hope he enjoyed my $25 Starbucks g/c the mangy little :cussing:
Starbucks has gluten free Valencia Orange cake now and I was going to use it for that and all I got was an opened envelope. Not eprize, the postman....:error:
:cry::cry:
