I woke up this morning to my cell phone calendar going off (Dads birthday) and it was 9am, I rolled over and went back to sleep! Why? Dh took the kids with him to work today, they are on the way to Kentucky and I am telling you I don't know what to do with myself! No kids, no hubby?
The reason I didn't go is my neighbor is in the hospital having heart surgery, they were going to do it the other day but, decided to do her surgery today. She has been in the hospital for a few days. She asked me to look after her house, plants and animals (3 expensive breed dogs and 2 cats) which are all house pets. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
So, I decide after checking and cleaning up after her animals and mine that I would go to town and pick a little something up from the grocery store to eat for lunch and dinner. I honestly wanted to stand in the middle of the store and go "uhhhhmmmmmmm" because, how often is it that you can go and buy food or whatever for 1 person?! Did I forget how to shop? All these years I have shopped for 4 people so buying food from the grocery store for one was a little interesting.
Well, here I am now at home, sitting on my bed with 1/2 of my footlong I bought from subway in walmart and I have a box of hot pockets in the freezer and 2 liter of soda. Junk food baby! No cooking full meals, nice!! Like I need it though :laughing:
I told dh earlier that I can take a bubble bath later, no kids banging on the door and no dh trying to sneak a peek. He said "yep, you don't even have to close the door" :laughing: They won't be home until either late toight or early in the morning.
Wow, whatever will I do. :headbang:
