Ever wake up to a cow on your back porch?

Well, gorgor, high end for me would be Texas Road House or Applebee's. My in-laws took us to some fancy a$$ place one year and I hated it. I can't keep the silverware straight and the food tasted like ball sweat.

spitting Coke Sweepstakes on my screen...

places that are high end are not always high class or great food. I can't stand commander's palace in New Orleans. Its not worth the price.

But some places are very good and worth it.

Red, I understand. We have the sheriff on speed dial but I have guns in my home and a loaded .44 in my bedside table. I get so annoyed when I read city people screaming about how guns are bad, they kill, noone should own them. that's fine when you can call the cops and they are there within 5 minutes, but when you have to call the SHeriff and get him out bed.. it's different.

My husband has just been taught how to use a gun. I had to teach him on the .22. THe .44 is too powerful for his skinny butt. lol.

But my boys both know how to shoot and know how to use the .22 and the rifles.

I hope I NEVER have to shoot someone but if it's them or my family, I won't think twice.

Oh izzblizz that picture is beautiful! I know they probably get on your nerves and I understand, but I love that picture! What a beautiful house also!

We have many deer, possums, and raccoons! My sister had a family of raccoons that use to come up on her porch to eat ~ if she didn't leave food out the Momma coon would come up and knock on the door!

Thankfully no racoons around here, although remember them in Iowa. That one pictured deer has had triplets and now she hangs around with them.

They ARE cute. But sometimes it is like "darn, who ate those, nobody ate those last year." (I suspect one of the triplets, lol).

Here are one of the babies.

You are all so lucky, I wish deer and other wild life (other than snakes!!!) would come into my yard but, with the neighbors dogs and our dogs they don't. I keep telling hubby that I can't wait until we have our own house with land one day because, this city girl is going totally country and having a farm.

I had a lovely day today, will share later once the kids are in bed but, it was filled with animals and fish! Today was my hubby's day off.

the only wild life i get are flea infested dogs and cats

Now when I lived with my parents we would have oppsums and raccoons all the time.

what great pictures! We used to have a neighbor's cow that would get out and destroy the garden. I am a total animal lover. growing up, besides having the cats ,dogs and rabbits, I had a pet raccoon, a pet albino possum, a flying squirrel, two pet pigeons that I brought home from under a bridge. They had fallen out of the nest. I also had frogs, lizards, turtles, and a snake here and there. I remember trying to flood the back corner of our basement so I could keep a smaller snapping turtle until my dad came home. I was always bring strays home.

My husband always tells people that I would have an elephant in the backyard if I could, which is true. He always tells people that I'm Ellie may from the Beverly hillbillies or St. Francis of Assisi.
