Facebook/Twitter

Have any of you won anything from either Facebook or Twitter sweepstakes? I generally skip blog sweepstakes, but Facebook/Twitter are easy enough, but I would like to hear if there are wins from these.

I've won three times from sponsors running sweepstakes on Facebook. I don't like Twitter and won't join, so I don't enter those.

I have won on facebook. I have won the Michelline contest a while back and i've won a few times on the Nestle crunch contest they are currently running.

I don't twitter. Good luck!

I've won NOTHING from any FB sweep I have entered. Pretty much a waste of my time, IMO.
I don't do twitter.

Yes, I won a pair of Lee Jeans that were given away on a Facebook contest

Boy did that sweep turn out to be a joke! I think they lost a lot of customers with that one.

...I won Bella's jacket from the "Twilight" movie from Twitter...I kinda lost interest in twitter since you have to retweet all day long.

I didn't enter it, but curious...What happened???

Nothing really happened. At the beginning there was an issue with the original rules. They were messed up, and they redid them. However, everyone that entered before they corrected the rules were given a free pair of jeans if they emailed them and it was verified that they entered during the period where the rules were messed up! :headbang:

Other than that, it ran perfectly fine. They gave out a lot of jeans everyday! :headbang:

It started out as a daily entry, and after the 2nd or 3rd day, they changed it to 1x only.
But your 1 entry, only counted for the day you entered..(daily drawings)....it didn't roll over through the rest of the entry period.

Even though they did give free jeans to those who entered the first day or two, I still think it was handled poorly. They should have just left it as a daily entry, and avoided the mass confusion they caused.

Most of my friends & family don't use twitter, so I can enter on there guilt free. I don't like cluttering up facebook, though, because everyone I know is there.

On Facebook, you are given the options to "Publish" or "Skip" posting of having entered a sweepstakes. So, if you choose "Skip", it won't show up on your wall or your friends' walls.

I won a case of Fruit 66 fruit punch from Facebook and I also won the Free Lee Jeans as I entered before they changed the rules.
I'm not on Twitter so I don't enter those.

I've won twice on Facebook. Both were up for only a few hours. I won the first time in October and the second time in December.
