If dental work is a large continuing cost for you, try googling for dental insurance in your area. It's not really insurance but gives you a big discount at member listed dentists. Be very thorough in checking out the dentist and get an estimate for your dental work using the discount BEFORE buying it. You want a reputable insurance and dentist as I have heard stories some dentists will try to add on more work than you really need to run up the total.

I do have dental insurance, but they only pay a max of $1500 a year. I also found a great dentist that lets me make payments with no interest and has broken down the work over this year and next so I can get maximum help out from the insurance. The insurance company will end up paying for about 40% of all the work I have done. Very thankful and will be glad when it's all over. This prepaid Visa will definitely help.
