Thank goodness I called first ~ it is tonight :laughing: I wouldn't have slept very good anyway ~ we had some storms rolling through and I would have been worried about my kids. Tonight it will be colder, but clear. I just hope they have a bunch of cover so I can get warm :sleepy: I am already sleepy so it shouldn't be a problem...

Jimmie had to fill out a paper about my snoring and he lied on it ~ he wouldn't put on it that he kicked me out of the bed because he was embarrassed that he was a :booty"!! I told him that if it embarrassed him that much that he should be ashamed of himself :nono:

I hate to say it but, it's not just "over there", there are people who do the same thing here too...I had to take a break once before because, of pm's sent to me and now today I am accused of being a very shallow and vain person in a post. It's everywhere, not just one place.

Sometimes we just have to not let what others say bother us. There are so many personalities in forums and once in awhile things just get perceived the wrong way. I don't think he was accusing you he was just stating his opinion.

I hate to say it but, it's not just "over there", there are people who do the same thing here too...I had to take a break once before because, of pm's sent to me and now today I am accused of being a very shallow and vain person in a post. It's everywhere, not just one place.

No site is perfect and without the occasional debate and quarrels, but that site is by far the worse site I have ever been to or been a member of.

You also have to keep in mind that some of the arse's from over there are trying to mingle over here and carry on in the same way they did over there.

Some have even run back there when they didn't get the conflict and/or drama here that they are used to there.

By far, this is the best site that I have been a member of. If someone here is trying to provoke you, pm a mod and let them know. It may very well be a member from over there. Some of them do like to come over here to stir the pot. :cheers:

I have received pm's in the past not wanting me here because, of the other forum and because, they just didn't like me. I am constantly defending myself on the other forum and I am tired of having to do that everywhere I go.

I agree with LI I have never seen anything as bad as the other site. T he thing is here the mods will take care of the situation and this site has never gotten out of control like the other.

I also agree pm a mod and they will take care of what needs taking care of.

I try not to let things bother me but, as you know yourself (I watched what happened to you), it's not always easy. Mods can only do so much. And at another place? I can't even get my own stalker removed from the site and have tried numerous times. I don't think she knows about this forum so I don't think she follows me around on here.

I did have a hard time there because they are cruel. They like to pick fights and even with the newbies. That is why I like it here so much. Even though I have different opinions with some people we respect each other enough to be civil. You just have to step back from the situation and not let what someone whom you don't even know upset you.

Everywhere you go online there is the potential for conflict but with good moderation and a good owner things will get resolved.

It wouldn't have to have been solely from your "stalker". Other members from there have been trying to harrass anyone from there that started posting here in these forums. Some started some nasty posts over there about a couple of members that were posting here--they were calling them out. That just makes them bullies! :nono:

I'm glad because I think you have something to contribute to this site. As for the other place just remember the drama never stops and even if they think they can ban all of us so called problem children. Things won't change there and we are gone. I still see it every time I read the forums and it's the same clique that cause all the problems because it comes from the top. It flows downhill.

This is just my opinion, but people have a right to be a member of whatever site they want to be ~ come on people ~ these are sweepstakes sites!!! Yes, I am loyal to one site that I think is "best" and I am sure that there are members over there that think the exact same thing, but that is the great thing about America, there is room for more than one sweeps site here, and people should feel free to post on both without being pushed around or banned!!

I like different personalities, and as long as people aren't causing problems (that I know about) all are welcomed here as far as I am concerned!!
