Gadget mag and gastro mag?

Are these real? They just seem so slick and there are a couple more like max beauty and mongobongo and truth about dating. I don't know why but these ones just don't seem right to me. Maybe I'm just crazy :laughing: Have a good day everyone.
 
I hope they are real cuz I started entering sweeps on both of them. No AV alarms and so far no new spam so maybe someone here will win from one of em and post. But yeah, new sites are a little scary sometimes. :whistle:
 
MaxBeauty, Mongobongo, MyPlingo and some others bring up a warning icon on my computer. Check the bottom right of your page for yellow caution or red ! at the end of the loading bar when you press enter. Ideally, there should be a padlock to designate an encrypted site. I just finished a long episode running a hard drive cleaning...so many of these were detected, slowing up my computer. Now I run a Malwarebyte scan after every sweepstakes session. Maybe not necessary but I feel better.
 
I personally don't enter any of them (Gastro, Gadget, Max Beauty, Mongo, etc.) because I question their legitimacy. They just seem a bit fishy to me. I hope I'm just being silly and some Sweeps Advantage members win their great prizes! :)
 
I enter all the sweeps named and have had no warnings or any other problems. Like someone said, hopefully they are legit! But it they don't get entered we will never know, so I, for one, (unless problems begin) will continue to enter them and hope for a win.
 
I enter them all also without any problems. I have also won prizes from sweepstakes before that people questioned the legitimacy of. :)
 
I hope SA continues to list all these sweeps. Sometimes the people with problems are more vocal than those without (silent majority syndrome?) and things get discontinued because of that.

Well, they are gone. I wish I had known so I could have saved them to my favorites. Guess I will have to track them down on my own. But .... I have had worse things happen :crazytongue:.

Guess I am still OK, they were put in expireds instead of just disappearing, as has happened with sweeps before, so I still have them. If I ever win anything and receive it I will be sure to let everyone know.
 
I also noticed they are gone. Luckily I haven't rec'd any warnings with these websites. Any reason why they were taken off? Are they not legit? Maybe a SA administrator can advise?

I have both of these saved in my sweeps so I havent noticed them gome from the listings, BUT I have never had a popup or AV warning from either of these sites. Also didnt see in the unwanted popups post where the removal of either of these are addressed. Just FYI, I also enter the WarmDust sweeps and never had a problem with that site either. Is my Kaspersky Anti Virus that good? Oh, and the sites Admin did say he removed, well I've never been to any of those. Good Luck to All. :)
