Gimme Some snow!

I want some snow! If I had a throwing fit smiley, I would be all over it, lol.

When dh and I decided to reconcile last year I moved from California to Mississippi. In CA. you all know how rare it is to see snow, maybe once every 10 years where I am from. Now, once I got here I kept hearing "oh, yeah it snows some in the winter times." Pfffft!!! It had snowed for one night and melted the next morning at the beginning of the year.

Anyone wanna share your snow with me? I won't complain, I promise! I will make homemade fudge, will that work?

We had a tease weather alert this week, they said it would snow 2-3 inches but, noooooooo all we got was rain. Going to do the snow dance. :headbang:

I miss snow I lived in Denver and it was so great to see that first snow fall every year.

I just made fudge. I tried Rachel Rays 5 Min. fudge and it is really good. I was surprised.

You can have all of my snow, and my cold weather too!! I am sick of cold and it isn't even that cold here, and we haven't gotten snow yet!!!

You can have the two inches of rain that was in our basement the other day if you want it also ~ I want the sunshine!!!

I will take all snow but, no rain. We have had a lot of rain and it looks ugly outside as if it's about to pour down on us again.

Cin, do you have the recipe?

I don't have that one, but have you ever tried the peanut butter fudge using eagle brand milk? I love that stuff!!! It has a more creamy consistancy instead of gritty ~ some people like the grit, I like smooth!!

Hey girl! I can box up some snow and send it to you if you want! It actually snowed here and is still on the ground. I guess my special shield stopped working!

I love, love, love snow also. At this point tho, I would just be happy with some cold weather. It looks like it FINALLY might get in the 30's this week.

we had a pretty good snow fall a few days ago. It was so nice. We had a snow ball fight yesterday. It made me feel better. Its starting to melt now and its kinda nasty. I love snow. I hope ya get some soon.

Never have but, that sounds sooooo good. I have 3 bags of Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways chips in there and a can of evap. milk. I want to make some but, my luck is I will eat it all myself, lol.

I love snow, it's beautiful and so magical. I worked at a ski resort before I met my husband so I know all too well about working in it, shoveling, etc. It was the part I hated and you wouldn't have wanted my job at the time. I still love snow though, if I see a few flakes anywhere, I still act and feel like a child in a candy store.

If fudge comes out gritty, then the person didn't make it right (cooked too long). Fudge should always come out smooth. It's also not easy for many to make. That's why people will use no-fail recipes using things like Fluff, condensed milk, etc. A true rich fudge is made with heavy cream and butter, no fluff, no condensed milk; but it's something you have to perfect and know when to take it off the stove. A little under or a little over can ruin the batch. It's a very precise process.
